  • Well the sound i guess is unusual at idle - a fast blip blip blip blip blip blip. Try say that really fast. That is how it sounds

Will be installing the PC in a day or so - should be interesting. There's a ready map available on the site.

Btw, how much are the 14's selling for in Bombay? Any idea? Would love to buy one - but either my zx11 or zx12r goes . Unfortunately, i can't keep 3 bikes ....

Cost depends on the dealer, new or old etc etc. Brand new should be around 14.5 i suppose. Put on the ready map, ride a whike, then i'll send u a link for custom maps. The difference is just killer. Have fun

        Now it's changed to v-4.

Have I missed any thread/post regarding it? [curious]

Well yes, I dont think most know exactly what & how to get the full power out of this beast. She's extremely restricted when you buy her brand new. So some killer research had to be done, along with good people to help me to do the mods. Now the issue is that 200mph aint a problem. The road needs to be selected very carefully.
But ya, bhp is never enough, but with a 14R one better know how to control her while opening up the throttle. There's a vast difference in response from you get it stock & after all this

                            • Rongom - if you want to do 200mph and live to talk about it, I think you need to consider taking this to official/semi-official channels. You may need to block a section of highway during off-peak hours and arrange for medical support etc.

This isn't a joke so don't take it lightly...one strong blast of wind, a stray dog/cow/human and it will be game-over. Small bumps in the road will magnify at these speeds. You will need to tune the steering damper for those high speeds.

I don't think you should attempt these speeds on public roads in the first place - perhaps an air-strip used by the air-force...need contacts to pull these things off.

You will need at least 1.5 to 2 miles to hit those speeds if I am not mistaken...

                              You will not be forgotten...RIP

                              • 200 mph........Holy @#$%#$#@%. And I was thinking it is impossible to control a bike beyond 200 kph with tunnel vision setting in etc. We would like to hear ur story and write-up. As GS said, pls do consider using other options than just a normal public regular road. ALL THE VERY BEST!
