  • I can't even imagine of such speeds...
Best of luck from a guy who have seen SBK's a couple of times in flesh in his entire life time can only tell one thing "Ride Safe" pal... was reading all the posts in this thread... one question persists in my mind that at 200 mph what will be the "Visibility" factor and how many KM(S) does it take to reach 200 mph? can't even thing of it...

Sure man, but dont ask for a ride

          @sayan, its 324kmph actually.

@Binoy, you are so majorly tucked in that you need to ensure that you are mantaining the straight line, as lifting your head at 305kmph was not possible, let alone 324kmph

@Puneet1, No update as yet as I'm getting my monster back on tuesday after a year, so firstly it'll be a huge relief to see it with the new monster energy decals, then to fire it up & hear the GP Cannon Exhaust sound. Then I need to get used to it again, as new mapping, de-restrictor etc are going to be installed.

                • @insaneroller : hello there mate. been following ur thread without uttering a single word anywhere ..

i really really appreciate the kawasaki. zx6r,9r,10r,12r or the mighty 14r . . I am a major fan.Given a chance to buy a litre bike or something bigger,it would be only a kawa.. ALWAYS !

hats off on ur efforts till..ur need for speed, love for ur machine, the amount of work and time u've spent on ur beauty is pretty neat .

i don get one thing.. u've got all the mods done so well, u even aim to touch the 200mph mark, but ur bike isnt equipped with an ABS..
on my puny 220cc machine i wish i had ABS at times.. havent u got that thought yet ? isnt it always a tad safer to be having an ABS ?

and one request ... i wanted u to post a fly by video.. a really small empty stretch would be enough.start of as usual on the 1st gear..zip by hte camera man at 4k or 5k rpm..or if u wanna give us more adrenaline rush, higher rpms would also do .pls do it as soon as possible..

                  still, congrats !!

                  • Hello

Woah.. Now thats a monster in real terms. I saw the first few pics and looks like they were taken on bandstand, Bandra. Sir, I would definately love to see the bike (just seeing, no touching. ) personally. I travel to Bandra almost every second day. Sir how can i contact you.
A fact -- It takes more love to share the pillion seat, than to share the bed.

                    • @ vid_powerstroke, ABS is an option which I have considered, but the 14R breaking aint as bad as the other litre bikes, so not much of a concern.

Fly by I should be able to post aftern tomorrow morning's ride

As bad as liter bikes? Seriously?
If there is something I admire about superbikes as much as their acceleration figures, it is their braking ability.
From the 'few' old school and new generation motorcycles I have ridden, there is hardly a well kept example with weak braking ability.
Maybe you were comparing the brakes of your 14 to the ones on your RDs, or you just have probably ridden some super 'monster' stuff with quad disks at the rear and a few more than that in the front.

Do some research on the 14R & Busa's breaking, you'll get your answer. Was comparing hyperbike to super sport's breaking. not a 1984 bike with a 2007 one. Quite a funny guy, (14 & RD), had me in splits.
