  • Insaneroller with such an insane modification on his bike.... to touch 200mph (321.8kmph) woow roller hats off man for all these dedication you showed towards your steed to make it outsatndingly insane....hehehe
Knowing that you would be doing such speeds I am sure you would take all safety precautions as well...... and yeah try to keep around 5 -6 digi cams so that your friends can record your this flight on road for us...and yeah pics would be a great idea though the camera would have to be better
wow i am waiting for the details and your experience it would be like dream come true

This isn't a joke so don't take it lightly...one strong blast of wind, a stray dog/cow/human and it will be game-over. Small bumps in the road will magnify at these speeds. You will need to tune the steering damper for those high speeds.

I don't think you should attempt these speeds on public roads in the first place - perhaps an air-strip used by the air-force...need contacts to pull these things off.

You will need at least 1.5 to 2 miles to hit those speeds if I am not mistaken...
I totally agree to this ... the risks involved magnify alot at high speeds. I crashed into a cow at 40 kmph once !
May the torque be with you..

Talk about bumps in the road being magnified - We were driving at 180 kmph on an Octy on a very familiar road late night just to see how quick this thing is. A small dip on the road (almost like a slope and back up) that we hardly feel at 80kmph almost made us loose control over the car. Learnt how EVERYTHING changed with speed.

        • Thanks Guru, Yup well aware of the risk, thats why even the Exp.way is not possible to hit that much. One ideally would require a mile to hit that speed & stop. Will show you the strip. Obviously its not a public road. Cheers

Hey Rongom, have followed your thread from quite some time and Guru's told me a bit about you and your bikes as well. I have to admit that I don't share the same kind of quest for top speed as you, but I really admire your enthusiasm towards this!

Good luck man. Keep us updated. And yes, be safe. I lose bowel control at speeds of above 275, so I can't really imagine 300+. So again, be safe.

Sure thing...lets go check it out and do this properly if we do it at all. Funny thing is that by the time I hit 200 on the MT - you'll be doing in excess of 300 easily

For sure buddy. Do I see some performance mods coming up for your monster???

Frankly, when I had maxed out the 14R @ 295kmph, it reached there quite quickly & I felt quite a bit in control. Speaking to guys from ZX14.net who have hit 217mph on 14R. All they told me was, that this bike was designed to hit those speeds once I can undo all the restrictions, however the road better be tarr & absolutely flat. So thats a bigger task than actually getting the bike to hit that speed

                    • I read somewhere that 200mph is not possible without a Turbo? As you get faster it actually gets more difficult to build up speed due to the wind resistance. I think mid-winter is the best time for such a speed-run given the lower average temperatures and less wind activity...

And you'll have denser air as well.

Little things that you may have thought of, but I was just thinking if you've had them covered? Things like higher air pressure, max hard suspension (depends on road surface quality also), fuelling at the top end (not sure how it is in the 14R, again a very general thought).

                        Tentative dates for the run?

@gs, no man, a turbo is not required to go past 200mph. Checkout the fastest non-turbo ZX14. Its by the same dude I've got all my things sorted from. Greg, owner of zx14.net. He's got a proper video of a non-turbo 14R hitting 217mph
