DAYATONA 675 ... information required !!!!

    DAYATONA 675 ... information required !!!!

    Hi,

    I am not sure if this has been already put on some thread but I wanted to search about the Triumph DAYATONA 675 post launches in India. All I have been able to google is that it was launched at Auto Expo this year. But No details about when and from where are the bookings/deliveries going to take place.
    Also, have heard this a numerous times about a Honda/Yamaha also planning to launch 600ccc machines following the similar lines. Not sure but if yes, How is DAYATONA 657 stacked against the likes of 600RR and R6?

    Personally I am looking forward for 675 as the prices are going to be around 7.5 lakhs and its a wonderful machines as per the reviews I have seen so far on Youtube and read elsewhere.

      They just announced their intentions to enter the Indian market.
      And in any case, the Daytona will be one of the last bikes to enter the country, thanks to it requiring homologation.
      The best thing to do would be to send an email

        Price around : 7 lakhs (ex-showroom)

        Triumph is going to make Delhi as their headoffice in India and planning on an plant in South India.

              Hi there ... thats brilliant if could be possible ... I have my eyes on 675 in any case.

              All,
              Any leads with anyone about when at the earliest they are plannin to initiate the first offerings. have also heard that sub holding if Piaggio, Moto Guzzi is also goin to make into Indian market smetime later as a bigger plan for Piaggio expansion.

              In the mean time, would try to get some updates from The Triumph guys about the launches. I guess they havent still finalized their showrooms any where?

                      Triumph will not launch their bikes till end of Nov 2012 / 1st week of Dec 2012. They are still in the phase of finalizing showroom locations and dealerships. Nothing is laid down boldly as of yet. Expect a long wait.

                          Triumph said the revealed prices are just teaser prices. Expect it to cost more. Someone from Pune had contacted Triumph to setup a dealership in Pune.

                              That seems to be quite genuine piece of official response from them. But whats the point in releasing the teaser prices and that too if they are goin to eventually go forward with this in another 6 7 months?
                              Hope the prices dont change much as I was enthralled by finding the 675 prices quoted around 7 lakhs INR...
                              The official link for Triumph India also talks about things moving forward post Sept/Oct 2012 as far as the dealership thing n bookings go on.

                              lets see now what true picture comes out after all this hype.
