^^^ Ouch! In my opinion, the guy had it easy. I wish I could say the same about his girlfriend. I learned the value of protective gloves after falling from my bicycle and peeling almost all of the skin on my both hands off. The worst part was the hospital. Sand was lodged deep in the wound, so removing it was, as you can imagine, a very pleasent experience everyone should have atleast once. I couldn't do shit for a month.

and this is exactly why I don't concure with the thought of the 2012 Suzuki GSXR 1000 commercial

Motorcycle Reconstruction - TAC tv road safety commercial - YouTube

At 68 kmph, the electronics would have saved the day for the rider. A controlled environment like the race track is no analogy for day to day traffic conditions and with the option of turning all the electronics off, I say it's a necessity in every liter class motorcycle.

            Hey Guys,

I am Abhishek from bangalore. Currently without a bike because i sold my RE electra and waiting for my tricolor cbr 250R.

After lurking around this forum for more than 5 years i am finally posting something

So if you are wondering why i took so long well i am lazy and it took a lazy bike company to make my first post here!

I can't help but think that this is suzuki's way of trying to hide the fact their bike is low tech compared to the competition by saying electronics are for wusses.

Agree with what you wrote everywhere in this post regarding the drifting Ad by Crafar's and Suzuki's stand for not having TC but but not with this utter stupid TAC Ad....hahahahahaha
              Electronics needed on street 100%
They will save you if you dont know how to use brakes or dont know how to ride what you are riding= Well, not really; Just like the TAC Ad...

A voice over to same ad:

Totally agreed WarpSpeed to what you said... and the voice over

But my point to this ad was the absense of electronics like ABS, TC which might have prevented the rear wheel to lock up and could have allowed the rider to remain in control of the motorcycle. You see.... a panic situation comes so quickly that even a seasoned rider might want to have some help leave aside ameture riders and when we have the option of turning the electronics off.... then why not have them in the first place!!
