Congrats to the owner , if you buyed the bike .
Mods : Why there are different threads for superbikes / imported bikes / big bikes / big costing bike or whatever be called ?
And why there are single ownership threads for small bikes / indian bikes / low cost bikes ( compared to these imported bikes ) / available in no. on roads ?
Most of we guys love to see big bikes & excited about them . Also the owner paid around 5x / 10x or even more money to buy it compared to the 100/150 cc bikes .
So maybe this is reason there are different threads for similar superbikes owned by different guys .
But isn't it like the difference in treatment at parking at big hotels in 2 wheelers & 4 wheelers ? And similarly it is made here in between small cc / low cost bikes & big cc / high cost bikes ?
But it resulted in no. of threads , some of which don't have any pic / proof that the bike really buyed / owned ?
Even some one can snap a photo on any big bike parked ( which don't have any remote lock or something sounding ) & start a new thread as its his own bike .
May be the good side is from real owners we can see different years different models of same bike .
Think on it may be there is need to have single ownership thread for each bike like R1 ownership thread , hayabusa ownership thread etc . Which will help to get info about good svc , easy fix as mostly shared in ownership threads .
Sorry to any superbikes / imported bikes / big bikes / big costing bike owner if you don't like the idea of having single ownership thread .

Apparently, he was bluffing!

I shall follow the good officer-bad officer approach.
Good officer:-
Maybe because there are 80,000 desi bikes to an SBK in India. (Courtesy Ken da - the stats are old, but the ratio would not have changed lot much even now.
Moreover, an ownership thread is meant to help masses, hence a single thread. SBKers are far less in numbers, hence we get one thread in a while where a guy says he bought a Litre class bike and congratulatory messages pour in!
Every other SBKer has the same story, but the interval (in terms of time and frequency of acquiring them) is so long that they are granted the privilege of opening their own separate threads.
Bad officer:-
That's simply preposterous!
It's similar to the mods thread. When moderators combined tuned bikes/modified bikes thread (read RC FFE/BB etc), why not this?
I agree with you Above_All. This is insane!
There are both sides to the argument!Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
Because everyone who passes, isn't a martyr!

Agree to what you said.
What really gets my goat is the fact that there is a "Thumpers, Two Stroke And Exotics" forum. When there is nothing common b/w 2 strokes and thumpers! Don't 2 strokes deserve a separate forum of their own?
