Re: A Green Affair! Starring Kawasaki Ninja 650 Edit: Now Sold!
Dear Sachin,
I came across this thread somewhere near 2012 when buying my CBR250, and I thought then that next would surely be N650 and followed the thread and your adventures with you at the same time living my own with the CBR.
Then last month, I decided to bid adieu to my CBR ( 67k+ on odo) and I finally on July 18th booked a N650 2017 KRT (which i am still waiting eagerly)
Little sad to hear you parted ways with your ride but we have to get out of our comfort zone to experience newer adventures.
Wishing you countless kilometers on you new ride........
Thanks for motivating me and countless others
Looking forward to posting/sharing the ownership experience of N650.

I did 84,000 kms in 4.5 years before I bid adieu. Rajasthan, Kutch, Countless South India Sojourn, Bhutan, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, SS1600K, King of the Road 2500K are some of the most memorable rides I have done with Midori. Japs never dissappoint and are build like a tank. When the whole world has moved to the tech game in motorcycle, this one did not even have ABS, yet the simplicity of motorcycling can be experienced by riding such a bike where everything is dependent on the rider and his skills. Having no fancy electronics meant there was nothing that could go wrong and hence, all this bike needed was timely service and parts replacement to keep her going the distance. Midori did just that
Regarding what's coming next, wait for few days more and I shall update everyone on what's coming
Hi Sachin Bhai, I have not been login to your post since 2 months...hence lately came to know about this news... Yes, it is very saddening news, my heartfelt feeling for the outgoing Midori... In fact you are the reason in owning my Ninja, after reading your review of Midory in Bike Advice, I opt for my machine( here is my pic from recent trip)...your observations and experiences are highly mature and prudent equally inspiring to embark safe and joyful riding...Expecting more to come...

Thank you so much for all the love and affection guys! When I created this thread I was not aware it would inspire many people to buy a bigger bike one day and fulfill their dreams. I am glad I was able to do my bit in making some of you realize that the dream is not too far out of reach, one just has to stretch a bit and grasp it. Midori was a special motorcycle for me and she took me places. Midori will forever live in my memories for the wonderful rides we did together.Originally posted by dbr650 View PostHi Sachin Bhai, I have not been login to your post since 2 months...hence lately came to know about this news... Hello guys,
I have done with my 2nd service of my ninja 650. As a part of this service i also fitted the frame sliders on the bike.
Frame sliders: RD MOTO
I ordered it from bachoo motors and it costed me INR 11250 including shipping charge.
The general 2nd service costed me INR 6400. No parts changed except oil filter. Here is the service bill down below.
