it's about time you change your helmet. Do not go by what fellow riders wear. I've seen similar scene here in Bangalore. It just cannot be like "riding a HD (not a sportsbike) allows you to wear any helmet" (especially half-face, mugs & buckets are strict no). I read that gears will follow - good going, Sir!!

get yourself a proper helmet this wafer thin Steelbird/Vega won't save you either.

Thanks. Well, in fact there are 10 Harleys in Meerut. We have a Meerut chapter of the HOGs called the Meerut Mutineers Motorcycling Club (M3C). I will now be going on regular drives with them every Sunday. And this Sunday we plan to go to Gajraula on the silky smooth highway via Hapur for a 200kms return drive.

Thanks mate. My HOG members have reached 160s on their Fat Bobs regularly. I hope that's speed enough for you. Even the Superlow does 120s in a jiffy. Though I am keeping the bike below 80kmph for the initial 1600kms.

Here's a Harley Helmet that I 'fabricated'. Lolz... I have a nice leather jacket. Will add more gear and a better helmet as things go along.

So I went ahead and adjusted the rear shocker on my own to Position 3 of 5 (see photo of manual attached). It was a simple 2 minute job and I used a pipe wrench on the advise of a local Superlow owner of the Meerut HOGs. He advised me to use the pipe wrench with a cloth so as to not scratch anything but since it was not gripping I used without any cloth and still there was no mark or scratch on the adjusting ring. Quite a good build quality in fact.

Also got this good quality bike cover from ebay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/300757273884...84.m1439.l2649 for just Rs. 1276/-. Fits my bike perfectly (photos attached). The original cover costs 10 grand.

And finally here's the VIDEO of the walkaround and the sound of the Harley. Its quite loud as it is with stock exhausts. My neighbours all look out when I start the bike in the morning, my tennis members have threatened to ban the bike in the club as they miss the shot due to its noise...lolz. I do not know how people can live with screaming eagles and not get sued, lolz. Overall the bike is a attention magnet and I have become tired of answering people's queries and have now shifted to ignoring them.

BTW, is there any anti-theft feature or immobilizer incorporated into the bike at factory?

Thanks mate. The immobilizer light does come on for a few seconds every time bike's key is put in ignition position. So there is definitely some immobilizer function though the key does not seem to have a transponder. Though there is is no anti theft alarm and remote key now. That also used to be there in the previous model when the bike was an import and used to cost a lac extra.

I know you'll take care of the bike. I guess installing 3rd party thingies could void the warranty or worse spoil the wiring. Hmmm... putting down a lac of smiling Gandhi notes for anti theft, 25 grands for rear adjustable grips, etc., seems a bit over head, isn't it? There should be a way out for this. I am sure you will find out.

A thoughts to share from my end - Try not to give your bike for water wash elsewhere. Do a DIY with meguiar's detailing products bi-weekly. I saw you already purchased the chrome shiner.
