Re: Finally Adopted A Green Monster

Yesterday went for night drive and completed 65KM ... this is my first SBK so wont be able to identify pros & cons of the bike. but key point i observed was bike rides very smoothly even at 40KMPH in 6th gear without any knocking or troubles... little bit acceleration and with in 1 sec reaches to 80KMPH @ 3100 RPM, was controlled my self there as i am still understanding my monster so dont wanna race hard at least for few more days.. i was driving at low power mode with full traction control on.. still wondering how my monster will react with high power mode and no traction control...

          few pics..

got the delivery and was planning to road back to home wanted long route

What does the manual say about the fuel requirement?

Congratulations buddy, beautiful bike that. It sure would be difficult for you to get off her and stop riding, the urge would always be there to hop on and ride randomly.

Lets definitely ride sometime and put on some kms.

Manual suggest 95+ octane fuel and showroom guys suggested use of octane booster incase of unavailability of 95+ octane fuel.

@all: suggest good place to get bike cover and crash guards.

Hey Anil congratulations on the delivery

                                A few questions :

                                1. How is the bike in traffic? Easy to ride?
                                2. How is the turning radius? Are U-turns very demanding?
                                3. In the low power mode u were riding, how was the engine heat in that irritating wakdewadi traffic?
                                4. Lastly, how is the street presence of this monster? Head-turning? is the exhaust howl intimidating to us lesser mortals on the road?

Waiting for more updates. Ride safe!
The way you ride is the way you are..
