Re: Test drive Kawasaki Z800
I believe you meant 919,000 and not 619000. I called them yesterday just to check new price & they said that they have not received new pricing from kawasaki yet.Originally posted by Sourjya Guha View Post

So Bangalore is the only one without the details of the new prices then
I prefer getting it from Bangalore and avoid the hassle, that too for a new bike.
What is this January thing now ? Aren\'t the prices down till March ? Trying to push the sales ?

Maybe they are trying to push the sales, as the manager mentioned this as something akin to festive-off.Originally posted by Sourjya Guha View PostSo Bangalore is the only one without the details of the new prices then

Re: Test drive Kawasaki Z800
I had called up Bangalore showroom. They said they haven't got updates from H.O. on exact pricing. By today they will get back to me. Hopefully !Originally posted by AmitRavi07 View PostMaybe they are trying to push the sales, as the manager mentioned this as something akin to festive-off.

Re: Test drive Kawasaki Z800
Some one picked up Z800 recently and Ex-showroom in Delhi is now 7.55L, a reduction of 50K. I guess Bangalore dealer must have received concrete info from kawasaki by now.
Also any updates on any benefits to existing owners? I am planning to write to blr dealer and kawasaki folks once i receive pakka news from them.
Kawasaki had launched Z800 at an introductory price of 8.05L Delhi. Introductory prices are meant to be increased

Re: Test drive Kawasaki Z800
As I read, the price cut has happened in Thailand from where the bikes are being imported. So this might be unexpected to Kawasaki India as well ! Send out an email and check if existing owners are gaining anything ? If not refund, at least in-terms of service benefits/spares.Originally posted by djay99 View PostKawasaki had launched Z800 at an introductory price of 8.05L Delhi. I received email from Kawasaki Bangalore saying the price cut is on \"ON THE ROAD\" price.

I can see that last time they imported bikes from thailand was in Oct-14. No new bikes have reached Nhava Sheva port later.Originally posted by Shreeni0403 View PostAs I read, the price cut has happened in Thailand from where the bikes are being imported. This reduction in thai price appears to be just a reason to gain more business. This is good news for new buyer\'s but what about existing one\'s? we could have bought an Akra for this price.
Also this pricing discount is different in diff places as ex-showroom price is reduced in delhi and pune. I don\'t know what\'s wrong with Bangalore guys. Also Ex-showroom is highest in Bangalore for Z800 along with highest road tax. I was wondering if we guy\'s in blr earn more than mumbai, delhi or pune guy\'s
Will write to them. Let\'s see what they say. What did you decide about Z800?Last edited by djay99; 01-12-2015, 05:11 PM.

AFAIK only Z800 comes from Thailand.Originally posted by cheran4200 View Postsry to say something off topic. but shouldnt the price cut be throughout the kawasaki range as most come from thailand?

I guess I read that except for the Z800, all other CBUs come from Japan so no price reductions.Originally posted by cheran4200 View Postsry to say something off topic. but shouldnt the price cut be throughout the kawasaki range as most come from thailand?
Also, I have been asking Bangalore showroom for the quotations with the breakup and have got nothing yet.
Meanwhile, KHIVRAJ\\\\\\\'s FB page says price is reduced on the OTR by 50K
All murky and confusing IMO.
Prices might be different in various states depending on cost of logistics and taxes they have to incur but surely the reduction of prices would be done as a standard. So either OTR - 50K all over India or EX Showroom - 50K all over.
Can\\\\\\\'t be both IMO, in 1 country. Guess the clouds would clear only when they decide to share the price break up sheets.
