Hi Guys.. So apparently last weekend I requested for a test drive again from the dealership and the bike was provided for the same. Tested out with full gear on.. Got back and was sweating like a pig and that is when i realised that the pants have a winter liner.. lolzzz so now have taken it out. One more week from today and I will be getting my bike.. will be updating the whole experience of delivery with pics.. so keep reading

Congrats on the new bike. How do you manage to pass each day knowing that the bike is with the dealer and not with you ? :P

Hey Eliksir.. Its difficult to manage.. but no option... I am still finalizing on the gloves.. Gloves are something which i want to try on first and then buy... You got any suggestions??

Hi Guy.. Finally got the delivery of the bike on 21st October 2014.. Got a call from the dealership on 20th Evening informing that the bike will be ready by 4/5 pm the next day.

I took a half day leave from office and hurried back home, had a quick lunch and was waiting.. Heres me all ready to pick up the bike





Triumph Delhi arranged for a BMW Pickup on the day of delivery, The car came at 4:30 and it was a 530 D Sports variant, I was in full gear waiting and was surprised when I was told that it was me who gets to drive the car all the way to the dealership. Let me just say that it was a experience before a experience.

So reached the dealership and saw my red beauty ready and raring to go ( I had completed all my documentation, billing etc earlier itself so only delivery was pending). Here are few 1st pics of the bike

While we were waiting for the delivery my dad decided to have some fun.. Heres my dad posing on a Thunderbird LT. (My dad too is into biking scene and may soon get himself a cruiser)



Delivery
Got a Triumph Sleeve Bag which contained the owners manual, service manual, first aid kits, spare set of keys. I was handed over the key to the bike

And then I was off - The first time I turned on the ignition



Drove through the Delhi Traffic on Dhanteras from the dealership all the way to Gurgaon, the bike has a very stable handling, even at very low speed in heavy traffic it was easy to handle. Had some random bikers trying to whizz past me on the MG Road... I was itching to smoke them but didnt.. May be some other day.. lolzz..

So finally got home did the pooja and parked the hotness in her stable -





Have been taking out the bike on short spins around the Gurgaon Faridabad Road for the past 2 days. Yesterday filled up the bike with Xtra Premium Fuel, the bikes gauge shows the average was 20.5 KM/L, lets see how it handles on Xtra Premium Fuel as getting a 97 Octane Fuel in Gurgaon is not so easy.

I will be riding with few other triumph owners this weekend.. So will keep updating my experiences

Awesome bro..its freaking gorgeous. Good to see you without your helmet. I guess it was a double bonanza that day when you drove a BMW and your machine .

Whoaa..you got yours delivered from the Egmore showroom then...Congrats man. So what fuel was recommended then ?

Yup from harbour city motors egmore, the fuel recommended was normal unleaded petrol or speed 97

man..cool...I came there once to TD on STriple...but the bike had gone for some rally and came back home sad faced

Hmmm...that's surprising..they let you use Unleaded petrol.

the striple is available now for test ride, i saw the daytona 675R test bike badly damaged.
