Seriously ??? Where did your dealer get this information from? Just how do these additives harm the engine? Will he give it to you in writing that you should not use these types of fuels? By the way, no fuel is so called 'pure', all have additives, even the so called 'regular' fuel. Its only a question of what is the formulation and concentration. I have been using Speed on my Ninja 300 since day one and there is nothing wrong with the fuel.

There is nothing wrong with branded fuels like Xtra Premium or Speed. There is no way that they can harm your bike's engine. Consider this, these very fuels are used in Premium cars and they work just fine without falling apart in the middle of the road. Premium fuels are used world over and are nothing new or unique to our country. The additives are simply detergents that keep the fuel system including the fuel pump clean and reduce carbon build up in the engine. To put it simply, they work, they make a difference but just don't expect miracles.

There is no harm in using these fuels and I prefer them to using ordinary fuels.

Congrats on getting MY dream bike, I went to the showroom to see how the bike feels, amazing quality I must say! If I ever save enough for one, I would surely go for the red one.
