Indeed, it is an expensive service costs for Triumph. Once of my friend who owns BMW S1000RR paid 210 Euros for the first service that is a steep 80% more (not justified). Secondly, yes they made the Pandora to stretch her legs on a dyno, but it was a computer program that was altering the speeds and changing gears. Never seen such thing.

In reference to the goodies. No not yet. It's winter in Germany. Temperature's oscillate between 0 to 7 an occasional 12 degrees. which is kind'a sad. Currently Santa fe is the daily runner.

P.S : I might join a group which is planning to ride until Malaga Spain. Hope the weather permits.

Cost effective solution for Navigation:
It has been on cards for quite some time to install GPS on my motorcycle. However it did not get materialized because of the following reasons:

1. Expensive equipment approx. 500 Euros
2. Equally expensive to fit
3. Cheaper solutions of installing mobile devices were prone to fall off (experience from fellow riders)
4. GPS is directly connected to the battery. Which in my opinion is not a good idea? The device keeps on consuming power even the engine is off!!!.The ideal way to connect the GPS is to connect with head light cables, at least as per the internet sources. However, the service provider simply rejected my idea.

Missing- warning/emergency signal (more on this in a minute)

1. I was searching for the lost documents on autobahns. This is no way allowed.
2. I did not switch on warning lights. Speed triple does not come with warning lights. How should I deal??? Will post it to the service station.
3. Left home with a heavy heart and fine. Lesson learned the hard way

Moral of the story: Invest on some high end rucksack. Ordered one from Revzilla, will post the pics soon.

You got a nice ride too. Infact, S1000RR is my dream machine too. I often had problems with my back because of the sitting position. Hence, went with a roadstar.

Nice to hear that you are based out of Belgium. Which part?

I had to shell out approx 200 € to get new documents.

Realized it bit late about the customs and shipping costs. Nevertheless, I am currently using BMW speed bag. Which is super comfortable compared to most of the new bags out in market.

As specified in the past, I was using the maps from HERE installed on my phone. Following the instructions via headphone was really painful. There were many occasions where I missed the exits. On top of it could not enjoy the ride because I had to constantly focus on audio aid and wait for the next instructions. Hence, decided to invest on a good GPS device. I have opted for Tomtom over the Garmin because of the following reasons:

1. Screen orientation (very high priority) -> portrait / Landscape
2. Custom route planning
3. Battery backup
4. Known user interface(painful to use Garmin)
5. Curve routes (Thrill route planning is what Tomtom calls)
6. Next gas station indicator on the directions
