The bike stalled thrice today. I'm very sure it happens only when the clutch is fully engaged. It's annoying as well as embarrassing. Almost every eye on the road is on you and your bike goes pssss.

          Hi Taffer,

Can you possibly share a video? And do you mean Clutch is fully disengaged (i.e. fully pressed?) I am confused...I am kind of getting tensed up about this stalling issue as nearly all are reporting it at some or other time and I am anxious when I might get hit by this issue...my ODO crossed 3300 km now..

I am facing a situation daily in traffic when my clutch remains fully pressed for many seconds at idle speeds frequently whenever the traffic halts and crawls forward again...

Jeevan, the more you think of it the more it will continue to bother you. Just ride and have fun with the bike.
Not all street triples are affected by this and I do hope yours is one of the non affected ones

I am sure, the guys at triumph would be receptive to find a solution to this.

Of course, friend, I am hell-bent on having fun on this bike and it is surely up for it! I am not too much worried about the stalling issue as I also sincerely hope that Triumph is equally careful about their reputation and will handle this...

Already elsewhere within XBHP community, there are discussions about choosing between Z800/Street Triple/CBR650F and anyone will hesitate to recommend street triple if they are facing stalling issues - otherwise it is the most sensible bike of its class and also great fun.

there are people who are facing stalling issues right from day 1 of their delivery

from what i heard is triumph India are working on a solution at the earliest

the thing is most of them don't say it out because it takes a toll on the resale value of the bike

Sorry to take over your thread Jeevan sir, booked my Street Triple in same red as yours.
Test riding the Z800 finalized the decision for me.
Got a neat 30k exchange bonus from Triumph on my previous bike. Delivery will be taken soon.

(In the process of deciding upon Triumph, the dealership gave me a test ride of 200+ km from Pune to Wai & back!)
