    Thanks a lot guys,

Anyone has any ideas on the options for tyres for this motorcycle? No issues in importing the tyres from foreign websites as well, MRF Zappers just doesnt do justice to the braking ability of the motorcycle.

That's what i was talking about when i rode i found braking to be insufficient with regards to the power this bike has.

The braking in the newer model has improved significantly. Harley has introduced brakes and calipers from Brembo in the relaunch model with a bigger disc in the rear as well, but the limiting factor now is the MRFs, I am planning to go for the 110/70 17 Michelin Pilot Street in the front, Using that tyre in my FZ has given me much better grip and braking then the stock Nylogrips.

It also improves the looks of the motorcycle.

                Hello All,

The low fuel warning came up over the weekend. the light was behaving a bit weird by turning on and off sometimes, I figure that is because of the flow of the petrol inside the tank.

Pumba got a refill with Shell Normal tank full, took in around 10.2 liters for 195kms giving a mileage of around 19.5kmpl, mind you the motorcycle was run in bumper to bumper traffic for the entire ODO till now.

Also got some discount coupons from Harley for Harley merchandise and accessories, ranges from 15% on merchandise to 40% discount on detailing services. The coupons are valid till 29th of November, anyone in Pune who would like to redeem them can pm me.

                Regards,
                Kinshuk

                  Hello All,

The first mod is home now. Its a simple 3m paint protection film. Will try to apply it on Saturday.
Need it because already there are a couple of hairline scratches on the tank because of bags.

                  Regards,

Re: Pumbaa: Red Harley Street 750

I am having a slight oil leak problem. The oil is leaking from the part where the gear shifter is attached to the crankcase. pardon my noobness but I am not sure what it is called.

The flow is not much, a couple of drops at max overnight.

Taking to the center over the weekend. Can anybody confirm if this will be covered in warranty or not?

I was also facing same leak issue with my Street. Took it to service center and they said that its leaking from a seal in gear box which they don't have right now. After waiting for almost two months finally they got the part. And to my surprise when they opened the cover for replacing it they found that it was not the issue a and oil was leaking from some neutral switch above the gear shaft. Luckily they had that part and replaced it immediately. So my suggestion is that you ask them to check it properly from where it is actually leaking rather than telling it out of assumption.

And yes every thing was covered under warranty.

Nope! Look out for a black R3 being cautiously ridden in constant fear of being scratched by the surrounding traffic. That would be me

Thanks Sachin, hopefully now they will have the part. did the issue reoccur in your Street?

R3's are always on the radar mate.

that is one big benefit of nakeds there is not much place where it can be scratched and that parts are also well inside the engine guard.

Got it done last Saturday only. Till now no leak observed.
Don't let them assume what is the problem, instead ask them to remove the cover to check and confirm.
