    Kawasaki Z900 -

    Hello,
    I have booked a Kawasaki Z900 on 26th Sep 2017. I want the grey colour, but not in stock. They have promised me delivery before 10th Oct. Lot of excitement.

    Can anyone guide me for getting the crash guards, frame sliders and radiator cover at reasonable price?
    There are options on Aliexpress, but I am not sure about the quality of the parts.

      congratulations.
      you can join superbikes classifieds group or superbike sales purchase and subk accesories group on facebook. lots of local vendors manufacturing and importing lots of spares in all class.

      exercise usual cautions. given a choice buy from the nearest location. if possible, prefer hand to hand pickup.
      you should get riding gear after trying them as there are size issues lots of times when ordered online.

        Hey let me know about your first ride review, and how does the bike perform in traffic n our roads, ground clearance is something you gotta keep an eye on while going over tall speed breakers or big potholes.

          Congrats, I booked one too, Out of stock. They have assured me that new stock will be coming in November mid week.

          Can you please let me know your possible delivery date?

                  Congrats mate , Have you been assured of getting a grey ? i have been told the grey has been discontinued so have an option to book metallic black or the green- may be that's for all the new bookings.This happened when i visited Cochin showroom last week.

                    Hi Raj, yes I was closely following up with the Chennai dealer. I booked in July. At first the dealer told me that Gray has been discontinued, and asked me to chose other colors to speed up delivery. But I insisted on gray or I am not interested in other colors, if not I will have to cancel the booking. The dealer called me after two days and confirmed me that new gray z900 stock will be arriving in November. I personally think the dealer tried to push me to choose other colors.. I spoke to Cochin dealer a month ago, he told me that gray will be available after 6 weeks. Please check Kawasaki Delhi and Mumbai, both the dealers deliver gray..

                      Thanks ady2k for letting me know .I also thought they are pushing as they had some green colour ready in stock.I really liked the grey colour but when they mentioned about dis continual got a little surprised.Have they given you a Z900 test drive at Cochin?They told me still waiting for test drive bikes and some legal papers to do test drive. Have you seen the new ninja 1000 black which was at showroom last week.I was so much tempted but my rides will be mostly in the city and few long drives so i think better Z900. Hope your long wait end soon ..

                        True, in my opinion Kawasaki wants to clear their existing stock. Grey was very much popular in all other states, as Z900 RTO approval was very much delayed in Kerala and Tamil Nadu the dealers were not able to stock it for their booked orders. After approval the dealers had to take Green & Black. I got this info from my dealer.. and well he assured me that new stock is coming up in November. No confirmed dates yet. Test drive - true they have not finished the legal formalities yet in Cochin. Yes, saw the black ninja.. very much tempted. Asked my Chennai dealer I will either take Grey Z900 or a black Ninja 100 whichever comes first, again black ninja is not available they have only green. I prefer the Z900 as I have a KTM RC , wanted a naked. but still a lot of dilemma which one to choose. I have seen the Grey Z900 in Malaysia, and I personally think its the best color, it looks like H2 naked. I don't feel like compromising it..

                          Exactly like you said.The ninja 1000 is pure value for money and head turner but since you already have a RC i think Z900 justifies.About the colour i have seen Z900 in all the three colours in Dubai just after the launch and personally grey won my heart.So don't compromise,just go with your heart.

                              Congrats for booking the beast,mate.Have you got the bike or still waiting? Surprisingly haven't found any ownership reviews of Z900 on xbhp. I believe a lot of Z900 must have been delivered by now.
