        Brilliant!!

A great write-up man.I can i can imagine the feeling "" wow 140MPH that's insane! what a rush that would have been!

Those are some really cool mods . Yeah, every R6 I have seen so far has the fender eliminator..Gives it a really clean look.

Even a so-called-mundane ride to the nearby grocery store would become a really fun ride if you have something like the SIX.ENjoy every bit of it
Very well made video by the way and the sound is amazing.Love it

I would like to know if you have been on any long ride on the R6 probably on some twisties and it would be great if you could tell us about your touring expericences on your bike.Keep writing and keep riding.

@ everyone…….thanks for the compliments….i shall forward them to my SIX.

@Satyenpoojary…….As long as it has an “R” in its name…ReSpEcT it man. After all…you move on to bigger things in life…maybe it’s the R1 for you someday.

@Old Fox……Oh yeah…the scream or rather the wail of that motor is devastatingly intoxicating.

@archerdyal…..180 every weekend on the freeway in California…..? you got some balls man, taking a chance with those ruthless California Cops so often. Let the head rule over the heart bud. It aint worth it from the perspective of being pulled over or ending up in a wreck. I have had hard core bikers pals give up bikes because of scary incidents on the freeway. And guess what…none of them got even a scratch. So think about it man. Ride Safe.

@Praveensuchinder....... I will post up something soon as I promised.

@Sunny…..Sweet Ass ride…LOL..yeah I get that a lot. This one time, a black guy got out of his mustang at a traffic light to say…”That shit is tight yo” LOL

@Motormania….swipe the card….ha ha…American way huh….see what it’s done to this country man….anyway…I wanna hold off the GYTR pipe for now…..dont want to mod her up too much too soon.

@ankit63…..try for magazines?.....thanks for the compliments……….nah man….i am not even close to printable material…….and anyway i have a better platform to share over here….. XBHP RULES

@everyone……will be posting up my first short travel log soon. Dint quite get the DSLR pictures…the dude with the camera dropped out. So had to make do with my digital camera. Will try my best to make it enjoyable.

                        Peace

Amazing writeup Carlitos! It feels great just to look at that thing, and you ride it everyday!! Man oh man.... Just firing it up sends shivers down me spine
Why do people buy cars anyway?

But have you tried some other 600s? Like they say in quite a lot of sportbike mags, you have to keep the engine screaming to get a kick.... Do you feel such a limitation in real-life practical conditions? Or are you launched heavenwards if you 'try' to scream it?
                            You get the point?? :D

Yup i have ridden a GSXR 600 and the CBR 600RR. Both those bikes have definitely more grunt below 4-5k RPM when compared to the R6. And so launching off from stand still is more speedy. After that RPM range these bikes are more or less the same in the mid range..although the yamaha still puts out marginally less power than the other 2 upto say abt 9k RPM. After that it just blows the competition away.
The trick here is, since the R6 has such a high revving engine you dont feel the difference in mid range cause it revs up so damn fast. And dude..after riding the bikes back home.....any of these give you a kick.
Plus hey.....the R6 styling is brilliant. So that is why i decided on the R6. Plus its a Yamaha....its got crazy in its blood....

@archerdyal....good for you man. Id rather tests its limits once in a while.
                              ride safe
