the bull500 and 535..no..all bulls come with a decompressor mechanism that lowers the compression ratio to a very low value for easy kick starts..
it can be started as easily as a 100cc bike

          comet is heavily priced.
looks as if its a mixed breed of a croiser and sports bike because it front fork is too long.
give it a close look u will get to know that what i am saying is right.

Its neither. Although it is being advertised and marketed as a sports bike, it is actually falls under the classification of a 'street bike'. It is being called a sports bike as there is nothing else sportier available in India at the moment.

                        i think the comet is over-priced. 140-150 kmph with 20 - 25 kmpl. i would go for a RD-350 and revamp it.

Interesting threads! Well the comet that Overdrive tested was churning out 30ps. The one being launched is 26ps. So shudnt it be better in terms of kmpl figures? Wont save you much but still!

And bikefreak aptly summed it up. Its a street bike and since we got nothing else thats sportier, its our sport bike then!

Also, I keep running into RD's!! Of course they are legends but history too! We dont find enough of them and they are hard to keep if your not in a city. The again I spent a whole lot of time on the net reading reviews about anything on 2wheels that Hyosung makes and sells and the reviews were only good! You can find the comparo b/w comet650 and suzuki GV650 (right?) on the official hyosung site for australia and they match spec to spec except on finish where suzuki wins by a not so big margin! The final comment of the article said (meant!) something like ---"The Japs should learn a few tricks from the Koreans...How is it that Hyosung makes bikes just as good if not better but are a value for money!" ..thats a bit too harsh but would almost hold true if the Comet had a little more stylish switchgear and instrument pod. And of course whats with those mirrors???

So long live the RD but usher in the new kid! He is smarter, leaner and more sophisticated! No comparisons on sheer brute force tho! what say?

And sunny seems to be upto something! Maybe he is trying to get some kinetic dealers in delhi hold exclusive test rides for xbhpians!! That would be supercool! Can we do something like that for Xbhpians? Hold test rides specially for xbhpians when a new bike is launched in India? What say?
