In most international vehicles around the world, when the light comes on, you can still do anything from 45 - 60 kms. I have done 44 with my R1 and then filled in almost 17 litres. @ Bankim Jain. Even if it gives 16 odd kms to the litre, I am sure enjoying the ride on this bike is priceless...
BTW, running the bike fully dry on fuel injected bikes could damage your fuel pump quickly. So take care for the future.
