wow...this is cool...race track beast tamed to ride on streets...super cool !!

one lil suggestion: if this was painted in black with high gloss, it would have been a killer...or even the Kawa green would also look great...

Let me solve the mystery of whether this bike is ZX-6R or ZX-10R. Well, some guessed it right, it is 2004 Kawasaki ZX-10r. This bike was a Race bike before its street legal transformation. Now as we all know that the raw power of this 1st gen ZX-10r is just awesome and on top of it, its Race modified. What else I could ask for. I have been riding for 7 years now and all these years I have been riding Kawasaki ZX-6R. I love my ZX-6R no doubt about that but when I saw this black beauty I had to have it.
The day I brought this black stealth home, the sheer joy of happiness was just overwhelming. I couldn’t sleep whole night just because i had to leave early morning for some canyon riding to get accustomed with this ride. Of course all my friends were expecting the same old Red ZX-6R but I gave them the surprise of the day. The exhaust sound is like Honda RC51 on steroids, trust me this bike growls like it has no exhaust. Following are the some of the modifications I can remember on top of my head.

        Muzzy exhaust
        Fork gold valve kit
        Race track fork springs
        Bmc race air filter
        Power commander
Goodridge braided brake lines (front and Rear)
        Crg shorty levers
        1/5 throttle conversion
        -1/+2 sprockets
        Complete race body
        Fender eliminator
        Shaved seat
        Ohlins steering damper
        DID Gold chain
        Frame sliders
        GP shifting (reverse pattern shifting)
        Quick shifter
        Speedohealer.
I may be missing some mods but that’s all I can remember right now.
This bike is lighter than my 600 and it handles beautifully. The way it grabs the curve is just awesome. Right now the bike is running on Bridgestone Battlax BT 020 tires, I am thinking about going one size up in the rear. The rear tire is 190/55/17 right now to 200/50/17.
More detailed ride report and pictures coming soon.

I love the dull black stealth look. The dull look makes it look really mean, if you know what i mean.

thats a fair few mods. how much did you pay for that.

I highly recommend NOT! going for a bigger tyre. tyre size depends on rim size so if you put a bigger tyre on a rim not designed for it , you change its profile offering even less grip. google it and you willl get detail. If you are a straight line rider, it shouldnt be a problem but that bik is set up for corners with those mods. also as long as you have a shiny patch of unused rubber on the sides of the tyres, you dont need a bigger tyre as you arent using the one you have completely

I am not doing tracks any time soon and it will be strictly streets and canyons only. To put race tires on will take 30 mins so I am not worried. Thanks for the suggestion though.

@juspritzx10r: Just a little curious... the 04/05 ZX10 was a mean bike by default making around 180 bhp. With all the mods on your bike, how many horses does it produce now?

Congrats on your second ninja What next? A ZX-14 modded for drag racing and converted to street use?

Seconded. Btw, how did you figure out it was an 04 ninja? I thought it was 08. The fairings and the pipe look more like 08.

Thats sick (in a positive way ). The 04-05 Kwacker was already a pain in the neck for some riders to handle because of the sheer accelerating power.I can't imagine the roar it produces!!
                              Congratulations for the ride !

PS- Can you please upload a video whiule revving the beast ?

Awesome bike, with even more awesome mods....

Even I'd love to hear it go. Plz do put up a video if you get time.

And edit the thread title. By no way can you call this ride a 'pony'.....
