its not 7 traction modes... but 7 levels of traction control....Originally posted by raghu123 View Postthanks for the detail ..........wow a overall 21 modes ......can you also specify the 7 traction modes and 3 riding modes ... this will further help
and the 3 modes are as follows:
1. A mode: meant for race tracks. very crisp throttle response.
2. Std mode: meant for everyday riding. normal throttle response.
3. B mode: meant for bad weather, traffic and newbies. a bit delayed throttle response.
the modes in yamaha are different form those in suzuki as the modes in suzuki limits the usable power in different modes... like for example in their B mode the power comes out to around 120-130 bhp which is almost euivalent to a 600c.c. supersports... i have also heard that they cut off the ignition to one of the cylinders in their B mode, dont know how true is that...Timon: Orange Yamaha FZ16 2009
Optimus: Red Mahindra XUV500 W8 FWD 2013
Atom: Red Tata Nano XTA 2016
Pumba: Red Harley Street 750

the 12R is a powerhouse, specially the 2000 year model. She has raw power that very few can tame... unlike the newer models where electronics have made it easier for a newbie to ride... with the 12R - she can be very scary for the faint heartedLast edited by insaneroller; 01-19-2012, 11:03 AM.BMW X5, CIVIC
