      Yesterday was a very special day for a fellow xbhp'ian lone wolf who finally got his dream bike a black hayabusa, all of you already know who im tokin about here.... this reminded me of my first experience riding it from the showroom to home.... but kabir pulled it off with some geting used to..
      well i also met ken da for the first time yest, whom iv bin following since a while now, and was a pleasure meeting others as well, aryan, addy, nipun, prateek, and indian blood..... photos attached for you guys, the professional ones clicked by aryan already posted in another thread

            I'v been busy riding past few weekends, and the last one being my first outstation ride which was from delhi to lansdowne.... most of the roads en route were beautifully maintained, the last 40-50 kms of twisties in the hills were like a dream come true...... i was a little hesitant in riding the busa the way i would really wanted to (owing to its weight), leaning on the curves, but in a while i got all the confidence that was needed and was pretty comfortable riding in those beautiful hills..

            i had got myself a makeshift Button cam to record the ride thru the twisties which unfortunately gave in and recorded nothing.

            Posting a few pictures that i took..... enjoy!

                  iv done about 3K + now..... how bout you? any long rides?? im planning a trip to bbay and pune sometime next week or a lil later, if possible would love to catch up sometime

                  THe roads were just amazing, we hit a detour in between near nazibabad and the road next to the canal was even better, had some fun on that stretch i was a little shocked to see people recognizing the bike in the remotest of the villages on the way ! Overheard a guy from the crowd telling his mate, "are ye dekh, GSX R 1300 likha hai, 1300 cc ke hai, ye to hayabusa ke takkar ke hai" n we guys burst laughing out .....it was amazing to see that the person knew that a hayabusa is 1300 cc (1340 to be exact) but not realizing that it was actually a hayabusa itself...... and they took no time to read thru the fairing and realizing it was actually a hayabusa...... the view in the hills was amazing and ride was no less fun.....

                    have done 8.5k+ now and still riding till the rains start... its amazing that people know the Busa ... couple of months back some of us had volunteered to be pilot riders for the pune marathon. i was the pilot rider on my Busa for the lead runner and guess what almost for the full 41km race ...people were shouting " dekh Busa ..dekh Busa"
                    dreams come true..

                        I'm buying a busa this jan..My dealer in Chennia is quoting a price far above what you said.You said 13.26 on road right?My dealer tells me 14.01 lakhs.

                          Hey rahul, thanks ! tho its bin sometime now since i got her, but the experience is life long!!
                          Are you buying a bike in Chennai or delhi? cuz the price i mentioned was delhi on-road that time and that too before the revision on Road-tax was done, so basically the final on-road price wud depend on the city where u getting the bike registered. if your buying in delhi why don't you try the dealers over here, and also u can negotiate to get a good discount at times !

                              The dealer also mentions some mandatory fittings in the bike..
                              what are those mandatory fittings?he is charging me extra 80k for it...
                              I stay in Chennai, so I wud prefer to buy from Chennai..But if I find delhi a lot more cheaper
                              (as I'm expecting),fir Delhi se he loonga!
                              can you provide me the email address of your dealer in Delhi..
