yeah...thts rite....he got a K9....n tht too golden black color scheme !! ram had clearly mentioned in the first post tht this color scheme aint available in 2010 version !

First off! Thank you for finding my thread on here a learning curve...felt nice to see my name there on your list.

Heartiest congratulations to you on booking yourself the BIG DADDY! The sheer gargantuan and stealth like features put the Busa in a class of its own ...period! Take this from me...bein an ex busa owner I simply loved my k8 orange n black Busa ( not that I love my '08 GSXR 1000 any less).

I read up on your post word for word and line by line and could feel every dop of emotion oozing out...was straight up no holds barred...good on you bro!

About the colour ...what can I say? This colour is real close to my heart as my Gixxer is pearl white in colour as well. I have seen the Busa in a lot of shades but believe me.. this particular shade is just something else.Great choice!!

The fact you've kept aside a 100 k for ancillary stuff is a strong budget...take that from me man!

Well I'm thinkin of "the one", Dad says CBR and my mom and Gf have teamed up and raised a big objection over the issue of bike . So right now as I'm yet to get into business, I'm keeping quiet for 6 months. So once i start earning, I'll definately book it without telling anyone.

@ Shrinath : Thanks buddy. The Pearl Busa in real life looks simply mindblowing. For me it was a double bonus. Busa had already me beyond words. Thats the magic of the Busa - leaves everyone SPELLBOUND. Beautiful, Hot, Sexy, Mind Blowing, Enthralling ..... any number of adjectives can never do justice to the Beast of this Beauty, which seems to have a mind of its own. The second bonus was this Fabulous Pearl White color. Before i saw her, the Orange Black was top of the charts, followed by the Black Gold combination. Somehow i did not dig a fancy to the all Black Model and was praying to GOD, please please get me some other colors for the 2010 model and if you cant convince those suzuki engineers, then let them continue the Black Gold Model. I had seen that model last year and quite liked it. Lekin GOD ne meri sunn li and rest is History. Pearl White its gonna be for me. Amen. Thank GOD for King Size Favors in life.

Will surely be coming to Pune once i start getting the hang of this HUGE beauty and am confident that i can be her companion over long distance rides. Would love to meet up with all of you in Pune.

@ Varun : Thanks Buddy. Im overwhelmed by the responses here and all the Best Wishes will surely add loads of joy to my SBK ownership. Loads of PICS are gonna follow as im a chirpy shutterbug. In fact now i am seriously thinking of getting into Amateur Photography just to get the Best of the Busa.

@ pentagram : Frustrati is possibly an understatment. I am so damn tormented these days that even the best of the things somehow pale in front of that long cruel wait. Oh Lord when will thy Indian Bike Lover get to pick a SBK off the shelf and fast forward to those moments of JOY !!!!
And i am sure all of you are now waiting too... if not more, at least with the same amount of anticipation as me. Its been a 5 year wait for me and i have been living with this super bike pain patiently (now run out of it though ).

I dont know for sure if i am the first in BHP family to own the 2010 model. If yes, i am honored by that but wish that more of my tribe are here. doktor, u already are the busa club pioneer here i join U

@ prateek : navald's GOLD Black combo is a 2009 model which he got in 2010 and was also registered in 2010. I had that option from a dealer but on advice of Suzuki India, i was patient for the last 3 months to take a big gamble on the 2010 colors. Boy, M i glad that the gamble paid of.

Busa sure is sheer and everything else on the road looks diminutive compared to her. ( Sure i m allowed to exaggerate bit here )
But jokes apart, BUSA is a class Apart.

Glad to know that my writeup has been conveying my emotions verbatim. A no holds barred direct dil se is what it really is. I got so many pm's here conveying this and that makes me very happy.
Maybe i can think of doing part time writing to supplement my Super Biking hobby.

M i glad to know that your gixxer is pearl white too ? Boy o Boy, it would be a treat to watch. Are you in Mumbai currently ? then i would like to have a dekho at your pearl white beauty.

I had a mind of keeping 10% of my total budget for gears and knik knaks and then add on more as i gain more gyaan. But somehow i have always been overboard in splurgin. But then thats what life is all about.
If you dont indulge in your passions now, who knows what tomorrow holds for us all. SO Live the moment is my motto.

Just spoke to my dealer and he says the Bikes consignment has arrived in Suzuki @ Gurgaon.

And tomorrow they leave for Mumbai ..... YIPEEEEEEE . boy oh boy

Now What Next ?

The Busa is gonna take 7 to 8 days to reach mumbai ( 1st or 2nd April )
Hope Suzuki is not gonna make a fool outta me

Once it reaches the octroi limits of mumbai, the dealer is gonna arrange to offload the BUSA from the HUGE Container Truck and put it on a smaller truck and depending on the time it takes to clear formalities at the Octroi Post, i should get it on 2nd or 3rd April

Registration should take 2 days. and Finally i should be able to ride it then.

Now this is surely gonna be a long wait.
But Sabr ka Fal is gona be sweet for sure
Aah the sweet fruits of temptation is so hard to resist
