Yes Sri It was almost a daily visit to the workshop just to see the bike and its progress.

These levers are a common after market accessory on the SBKs and now a days for some of our Indian bikes too. They fit your fingers so very well due to their ergonomics

Neat Job! Liked the paint work, stickering looks Fab. Red really looks good on the comet. The tank pad looks transparent? or is it red? either ways looks neat.

Drooling over the first page over and over again.....

Sunil bhai, really inspiring.....i havent seen a Comet for a while ever since i left B'lore in 2007. The throttle sound still haunts me at times.
The paint job is just awesome, fantastic job done, really. How do you manage to get the parts of Comet?

I wish someone from Mahindra and Mahindra is reading this.....please bring back the Comet, i am sure i will be one of the first people to book it.

For the parts I order it on the web through ebay, richard, etc. I'll get the parts in a fortnight or so.

                        The levers' cost was 180$
But then the brake lever wasn't the exact fit on the bike hence I changed the master cylinder to Nissin one, that costs around 7k/-

Oooops My bad "Sumit", terribly sorry about that. Anyways was browing Richard's website, seem that he has got lot of parts or all of the parts

Sumit, do you know if Mahindra is launching the Comets again? any serious genuine information on that one?

I am so desperate to buy one.

There are some sellers on ebay who source Comet parts. I got the sprocket from ebay.
great job....how much the sprockets cost you?

I have no idea if they are doing so.
As far as I know their venture with Hyosung is long over.
You can look out for well maintained pre-owned comets if they are on sale.

Rear one costs around 60$ excluding the shipping charges. The set comes in 100$ on ebay I believe.
