only payed duty over 1000cc bike around 6 lacs in Pakistan (only duty) rest of import charges bike price import shipment charges + thora bohat khelana parta hey on port. 1000cc motorcycle cost you around + 15/16 lacs minimum (2009/2010 models) which is quite expensive. In fact expensive for us here in Pakistan. Major issue is Petrol prices here *** Govt everyday increase petrol prices without any solid reason. Buying bikes and expensive cars are not an issue problem is petrol prices + if any sort of accident etc u can wait for 7 - 15 days for parts. 99.9% cars are imported by individuals either Ferrari or lamborghini, Hummer, Esclade, Phantom RR, Hayabusa, Ducati, R1 etc.

Organized event HPR - Quatermile Drag Racing event.. well organized event with extremely bad ending.. in the history of Pakistan..

1000 BHP Charged Monster Toyota Supra VS Super Charged Corvette American moded Race... last moment of the event.... 5 people died. .. son father and rest of other children died at the spot when Driver lost control over his Supra when he pushed NOS button... lost TRAC system and car hit side fence - towards spectators.. 4 children and 1 father along with his child died at the spot.... car even have most expensive slicktyres but even with that car lost traction control .... Most Extreme mystery about this accident is child name Asfand-Yar who died in the accident wrote some essay in his class 2 days back in which he was talking about some accident related to him after 2 days that eassy become reality and history end of that child.... Pakistani TV channels continoulsy shouting over this accident from morning tonight from past 4 days..

Driver is not on the fault neither Organizer if u watch Video on youtube before race and since morning i was there along with SAMA AAJ and GEO TV camera man organizer Countinously shouting on the spectators that PEOPLE ARE NOT ALLOWED ON RIGHT SIDE OF THE TRACK.. what can we say... 4 children lost their life in that xtremely horrible accident..

Man, some of the scenes in those videos are very gruesome , I would kindly ask you to remove them... the ones showing the victims with crushed limbs and stuff...
its so sad little kids, got tears in my eyes.... hope you understand.

this is sad, really sad... RIP those poor souls.

But wasnt there any crowd control on that side? Either the crowd should not have been let on any side, or else concrete barriers which wouldve kept the car in the lane shouldve been in place. ( but then that wouldve been a massive feat for the organiser, first closing the road, getting them in place, and then removing the same.)

But i still strongly say, in future, concrete barriers, not just on the sides, but also separating the vehicles, so that they dont run into each other also at times.

Agreed but the issue is we organizers cant control southasians whether in cricketmatch or hockeymatch or racing event... people are extremely idiot.. in my view... Father along with his children were more responsible thn the driver and organizers. We always take a side of those who died but never go to deep logic why this that happened. Why the person standing on the footpath along with his children even before that race and since morning organizers have full control whole spectators around 5000 spectators thr since morning along with full families include ladies and mothers but on the left side (sitting arrangment). The person who died in that accident is more responsible for his and his son's and daughter injury. Its a drag racing either its legal or illegal atleast common sense is something 1000 900 800 Hourse power monster car doing racings and a person standing on the footpath look more idiot either its me you or anyone.....

Anyway good organized even with extremely horrible ending
