      Don't you think an Inline 12 or 16 will be way to impractical to fit in a car?

        Simply said, L twin. Power delivery is different for a V twin and an L twin. Hence the mention. Cylinders are not in a V so calling it 90 degree V would be wrong nomenclature.

            I am not trying to prove any point here, just felt like sharing with you. We can rest the case here.

              Now, things are hotting up! Who is getting a Duke, and which one is it - the Monster!?

              @Ken Da: Agreed the R1 (or all Japanese machines) is left to dust by the 1098/ 1198, but I really fail to see how does it matter on public roads or even on the race track for mere mortals like us?

              Anyhow, since this topic is not the ideal place to discuss this, let's enjoy the multi-colored photographs!

                  Are you serious Aryan?
                  It isn't the Italian or Japanese which are rocking this time,
                  its the Germans

                    @Sheel: Ah yes, the Beemer!

                    As for the 'triple' mentioned by fireblah, that would be my duplicate posts (which amounted to three consecutive same posts) because of the slow connection that my home network is currently offering.
                    :)

                        As for the 'home' network, I was being a little technical here, I didn't mean home in literal sense!

                          Guess vibrations are in demand here. Well, for a litre class vibrating bike, try crossplane R1... vibrates like a hydraulic drill.. !

                              Ok, so for you normal is boring.

                              PS: If S1000RR is standard, then Blade and R1 both are bautiful.

                                some like Madhubala/Aishwarya (hope i spell correctly), some prefer(put any name)

                                I find the above motorcycles beautiful, because all three romped the competition in their respective debut years,
                                err, this is my term of being beautiful as far as motorcycles go
