Not many spares were used though i tried. the changes made were:
      1. Replacement of all spokes of the wheels. couldnot bring myself to fit alloys. thought it would spoil the look of the bike.
      2. replacement of the indicators.
      3. complete painting. Sadly, i sould not get the original stickers.
      4. Servicing.
      5. Fitment of a Side Box which i considered necessary for my daily use.
You are still on stock bore and piston ? WOW that is awesome..many have ruined it and have sold the bike for a pittance to be broken into spares..If you are keen on holding the Bike for long please get a Bore and Piston kit, because the bore is an all Aluminum one and cannot be rebored....You can try the Hero Honda turn indicator assembly..I have them on my KB and it looks acceptable...here is a pic of my KB:

Looks Nice psr. I think we must agree that we all do some things even though subtle to our bikes so that they look unique and stand apart in a crowd. i see you have done the same, especially the colour & the seat shape & I must say that the result is pretty good.
As for me I think I will stick with the round turn indicators since I have come to like those bell shaped ones. I will still hunt for the square headlamp assembly. will surely tell you if i happen to land up on one.
I dont have the stock piston & bore as my bike was exploited by few of my friends & in the process went under the knife couple of times. During many of the periods when I was not utilising my bike or otherwise too, no one used to check the oil level before taking her for a drive. many times the bike ran dry and the piston got seized. had to carry out overhauling twice! but fortunately i could get good mechanics & her piston & bore got replaced both times & out she came bouncing back. presently it has been over a year since the last major repair & now I am taking good care of my bike. I dont have any intentions of parting with her.

          Head light.

Thanks for your observations on my bike .Locomotor The headlight reflector is made of MS in KB.I think if you remove and give it for electro plating, you will have a new shiny reflector. The reflector is removable, and can be re coated. It may take just a day or two if you get the Mechanic to do it along with other such jobs he might have.

the RPM gauge is not reading & the fuel gauge is reading erratically. will be getting it checked this week. most probably a problem with the sensors.
