      Let me first ask you if it is 4 or 5 speed RX135.

      Check the bike papers for chasis number, engine number(check the below thread) and off course the name of the owner the bike is registered. Also check if it is original papers or marked duplicate.

      RX series identification:

      Find the difference between RX135 models:

      For understanding about the bike:

      Please go through the above links for more idea. Hope it helps!

        Thanx Mate.. will definitely go thru it

        i did some digging today.. only to see that i am getting more confused with regards to Yamaha RX series

        i now have 3 option in front of me

        1> RX 100 --> 1986 model good condition --> 25,000
        2> RXz --> 1999 model needs little work towards Tail Light--> 25,000
        3> RX135 --> the one mentioned above --> 20,000

        Which one should i go for!!!!!!!..

        my heart say 135 (only because i did a wheelie on it) though seriously guys suggest..

          Where is your town located? Is it in Maharashtra?

          It is very difficult to suggest one among the three listed above. Since we are discussing in virtual world.

          That's the reason why I had posted links so that you can go through and be clear what to expect while purchasing.

          1. Of all the appearance, what you need to lookout for is the engine.
          2. Remember you can build all the cosmetic later. Your money should be invested for a decent running engine.
          3. Check if it is running in standard size or oversize bore.
          4. Engine noise, bore, connecting rod noise and compression is what you need.
          5. Check for engine smoothness.

          FYI: RXZ parts are relatively difficult to source than RX135/RX100.

          Post your thoughts.

            My City is located in on the distance of 50 km from Mumbai can say suburb of mumbai..

            if RXZ parts are difficult to source then i guess i will stick to RX135. and that is a 5 speed one not sure of which year but the person who has it also own a RD 350 hence he is planning to sell this one(RX135) the engine is in good condition as i have ridden the bike a couple of times... Now i need to check what all work he has done to his engine just to find if any near future repair are required or not. Else the Bike needs only Cosmetic Repairs...
