Comment what? Its a direct fit & one SHOULD consider opting for it.
    Thanks for confirming it Aargee..

If you're working onsite, yes, quite understandable. When you're working offshore (India), then what's the problem? Work load?
The problem is when i come home for holidays, have lot of family obligations...rest if there is any problem with the bike then i immediately run to my mechanic...i hvnt ridden her for more than 5 months now...will have to go and check.

You're talking about the disc brake setup right or is it something else?

100Kmph in 3rd gear, that too for an RX100 !!!! You should have tapped to 4th, probably you would have ended up doing 140Kmph on 4th.

You even realize what you are talking? If we are to believe you, then probably in entire India, you have the fastest street spec RX100.

That is some serious speed. How about trading my Stage 3+ ported RX135 5-Speed for your RX100......

Get real dude & check your facts before you post. You can go & fool whomever you want in some other sites, sorry not on xbhp 2-stokes forum. I know very well what it takes for a 2-Stroke single cylinder air-cooled engine < 150cc displacement to make it reach a 100Kmph in 3rd gear.

Now i know why Ganesh (aargee) was asking if you were serious about your questions.

I am still in shock. Need a break now.

Karthik - Lol!!! you were seriously missing all the fun. I literally stopped follow-up after seeing 3rd & 100!!! Welcome back & pls share all the stories from Germany

@PB - Dude, I don't have any intentions to offend you, but the point I'm trying to say is do not do such extreme mods that's all. I used to have a ported 135 (don't ask me details as I was more than dumb ass then) with TM28 (mains on 180) & once I'd an opportunity to ride even with the silencer removed, the max I could reach out in 3rd was 90 Kmph with 16/34 sprockets. I can still do (stock) 3rd & 80 on the same setup.

PS - Karthik, enjoyed ur post, seriously better than damn Vadivelu comedies

Aargee : the reply was in turn for your question (If you're working onsite, yes, quite understandable. When you're working offshore (India), then what's the problem? Work load?)

Many times i have thought of going in for a disc setup, but since i get to ride my bike only for a month i have still not make any decision yet.
But yes if ever i get a chance i will certainly do it.
Aargee about the disc detup - What all parts do i require to buy?

As per my understanding i will have to get the fork assembly.
What about the rims ? Do i need to change the tyres too (size)?

Bare minimum - wheel hub, front suspension RHS bottom & disc brake assy of Gladiator (read, brake caliper kit, master cylinder, hose, brake lever, disc & screws)

However, its good to change both the front suspensions. No need to change the fork as Glad's front suspension is direct fit on Rx's fork.

                No need to change rim & tyres. I run on a CD100's rim (18") with 2.50 X 18 tire.

When you've time, go through the 80+ pages on this thread, it has more than all required information on Rx discussed & will help you understand most basic to intermediate things - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/thumpers...ariants-3.html

^^^ Tks. Yeah, there're lots of info that they're scrambled all over the place. Sry about that. But some pages are worth going thru as it has several valuable advices from ppl like JD, Yamdoot, Psycho98, Bigbore & several other gurus. If it hadn't been them & SriramEFunds, I would've not been even responding to this thread now

Bro .But everybody does mot have that much knowledge and also everybody doesn't have sigma and speed gun etc.speed claimed here is speedo reading. We are here to learn from this forum from you guys only.So please don't make fun of anybody.Tell him calmly that stock Rx100 can't hit 100 in 3rd gear.

Well, what else do you expect? With 16/37 or 15/38 or 15/39 would you be able to do 115 Kmph? You may probably not. Be it 5 Km or 50 Km, one will be able to do the top speed only with 16/34 & not even with 15/34 combo. I know this since I'm riding in 16/34 for over 4 years now.

If you look at the posts on the very first pages on this thread after mod's approval, it was very clearly told that 120 on 100 is extremely difficult & the same has been conveyed several times both diplomatically as well as sarcastically. If one still doesn't have an open mind to accept facts (read facts) from experienced people then, these are some of the comments that can be expected.

YOu are using 16/34 on 100 or 135?at what speed do you shift to fourth gear?I tried this before but riding in city is painfull, lttle crowd and you have to shift to 1st.on Even on straight road if shifted to 4th earlier than 90 mark then instead of incresing, speed decreases.
