Entire xBhp knows I'm using 135 on 100's clothing. See my other thread where I've built the Rx. I shift to 4th gear anywhere in the speeds from 40 to 90. City riding is not a painful at all provided the gear shifts are done to the speeds of the vehicle. Like I keep saying, listen to the engine & then decide to shift, open or close.Originally posted by 2stroker View Post

I have gone through your thread. You ride a rx135 that's why you can have that sprocketting but i ride rx100 so it's impossible to run rx135's sprocketting.4th gear ratio is such that bike won't pull.I am not arguing but want to tell that rx135's sprocketting and 5s won't work on a stock 100.

The (Petrol tank & side shield) colour choosen is very unique, but you shouldn't have gone in for Black painting for engine. It wont stay for long, write this down. The mirrors are not OE stuff. The bike is not looking stock (factory fresh) nor it looks like a sports type (check out bigbore's thread for painting scheme). Its very dull.Originally posted by Play Boy View Post

Please change the speedometer unit (if not done yet) so that you have the real picture of your bike's performance.
I dont know what else to say. Sorry if i have been very harsh or blunt, but this is the way i am. If you need any engine rebuild tips or some modification tips let us know.Last edited by karthikdattag; 02-07-2011, 09:20 PM.

[QUOTE=2stroker;574187]You dont need a sigma or a radar gun to check if your bike does 100Kmph or not. Its experience & the work on the barrel, exhaust, ignition, sproketing etc etc etc that makes the bike go faster & faster.Originally posted by karthikdattag View PostBro .But everybody does mot have that much knowledge and also everybody doesn't have sigma and speed gun etc.speed claimed here is speedo reading. We are here to learn from this forum from you guys only.So please don't make fun of anybody.Tell him calmly that stock Rx100 can't hit 100 in 3rd gear.
no offence intended to anybody.
The speed torque curves of RX100 & RX135 are not the same, hence different sproketing. The gearbox is one & the same for entire RX series (Except 5-speed). If your bike doesn't pull in 4th with 34T RS, then start the reduction from 39 --> 38 --> 37. I am sure you will settle down for something.Originally posted by 2stroker View PostI have gone through your thread. You ride a rx135 that's why you can have that sprocketting but i ride rx100 so it's impossible to run rx135's sprocketting.4th gear ratio is such that bike won't pull.I am not arguing but want to tell that rx135's sprocketting and 5s won't work on a stock 100.

.Excellent pickup and satisfactory top end
RX100 as per manual(think have somewhere)makes 11bhp @7500.Correct me if i am wrong. So,what i wanna know is it must hit 7500 in 4th gear also.mine does till 6500! Is it normal?

Hi thanks for your revertPlease change the speedometer unit (if not done yet) so that you have the real picture of your bike's performance.
only thing I need to know is which speedo shall I go for.
Also will surely check with you on the mods later.Regards,

You can have many options:Originally posted by Play Boy View PostHi thanks for your revert
only thing I need to know is which speedo shall I go for.
Also will surely check with you on the mods later.
- Original RX100 Speedometer (Advicable, if you are using side lock system)
- Bajaj Avenger Speedometer (I have this on both my bikes, as i had to remove my existing meter because i opted for central locking system. On the speedo, its looks very good & also has reading all the way till 160Kmph with trip meter)
- Original RX-K Speedometer (Has readout till 160Kmph & trip meter included, you will need to import this thing)
Hope this helps. I will not recommend a Sigma digital meter, because it is only for one time speed testing. You can't have it fixed permanently onto bike, that too in country like India where the stuff can be stolen within minutes.
Frankly speaking speedometer is not required for an RX, i have it just for the asthetic point of view. My tuner has a radar gun (Bushnell) which he uses to time his Drag RX100 & RX135. I just need to go with him during one of the practice sessions & i will also have my real top speed.
