      @sixspeedtwin,

The following parts shown in the pic doesn't belong to the bike

      1. Front fender
      2. crash guard (don't fit it. i know its a must for safety, but it'll spoil the bike's originality)
      3. Speedo & RPM meters

hope you are already searching for the US spec fender and speedo console

The front fender, as I explained in the earlier post, is difficult to import, not due to it's weight, but the bulk of it.

FYI neither is the rear fender original.

        Crash guard serves 2 purposes:
        1. Protect the rider
        2. Protect the bike!!!

Speedo and rmp meters are original. 120 mph speedometer. U are misinformed

I pass Deonar quite often if I am going to Vashi or Pune.

I go to Lallubhai compound near the Abbatoir to meet Samad, an old Jawa / Yezdi Muchanic
I stay in Deonar (W) near Telecom Factory on the way to Vashi/Pune (Sion-Trombay Road). Give me a call next time you visit Lallubhai Compound as its pretty close to my place. I had PM'd you my cell no. a few days back.

yes you are 100% right, its a Treasure trove out there for any RD fan, but some members are not friendly. when we post for some help about the RD, i felt the replies are too sarcastic (no offenses). other wise i love that forum very much. so i became inactive & just absorb the wonderful content & knowledge about RD's from it.

              @ sixspeedtwin, any updates ?

That is true. Some ppl have the air in them which keeps new members to join or post up.

How I envy you guys in Mumbai/Bangalore/Chennai!!! With such a strong network of passionate two-strokers, there's a helping hand whenever its needed - knowledge of local mechanics, members who chip in with spares, workshops that can do the works - amazing, to say the least. Long live the fraternity of two-stroke lovers and especially people undertaking restorations.

Recently, I saw a few RDs in Mhow (a quaint old town near Indore). One belonged to a restaurateur and was being repaired while another was on sale at a local mechanic's shop. The guy was quoting a cool 100k (negotiable) for it. The guy had his workshop's name etched on the fuel tank and on the engine cover and had thus ruined the look.

@sixspeedtwin - you have all the luck, good wishes and prayers from me.

@Alok - The front disc set up, did buy them from abroad or was there when you bought the bike? I'm sure the Indian version of RD350B did not come with disc.
