      Yes. You are right. I have two Rajdoots and its parts are available in right price near Varanasi and Ghazipur (In East U.P, my native place). There are lots of Rajdoot you can see running on roads and that is the reason for easy availability of parts. But for pune, I think 4K price is okay as Rajdoots are hard to find.

          RDs are superb machines.. sure needs a paintjob coat it with teflon after paintjob and it will look awesome.. looking forward for pics.

            That is not an RD. All RDs are twin cylinders or more (always).

                  I will try to get a picture soon. Its been with my mechanic for almost a month now.

                  Condition, well it was drowned in water during the last rainy season after which my friend's father decided to give it to me because it got so rusted.

                  I, after a long struggle (trust me, it was too long of a struggle) found a mechanic who was an ex-worker of Escote.

                  Now, only the frame and engine case are retained. Rest all we are buying as spares and resotring it..

                  The mech wants 20-25 more thousand to finish the job..

                    I'm mostly looking for advice in the color that I'm going to give.. Right now, military green or white are the options.. The original color was cherry red.. What do you guys think. Will Military green be OK?

                    Also I'm going with a single seater.

                          you cannot use a Military green as it is only for Military purpose, go for the original color (Cherry Red)

                                i see a lot of bullets in battle green, a lot of custom modified jeeps in battle green.

                                some time back i saw a cargo jeans of levis made of army fatigue type of cloth, exactly same colour, design pattern etc. only difference was fit.
