Its a Karnataka registered bike so I need to get the NOC papers cleared.
Restoration work will be starting after some 4 or 5months. By that time I'm planing to collect parts and gather more info from all possible ways.

I'm new to the world of Yezdi's, Hope all you will help me for gaining more knowledge about this bike and restore it.

At present I'm thinking of restoring it and giving a look like this

Wow! Really? That's my bike you've taken as inspiration so I'm rather flattered ) All the best.

          Cheers,

                Thanks Ray, Ramesh and Satish.
                sorry for the late reply.
Managed to bring the bike home a week back. It was a nice ride from Mysore to Cochin via Bandipur, Calicit, Trissur by 9.00 hrs.
Before riding it home, arranged a good mechanic and done some work to make sure that it will be safe throughout the journey.
The mileage noted is aroung 28, not exact figure.
Im happy with the bike , it was covering distance pretty smart and I did't feel any body pain after riding this much distance in a strech.
Now Im running behind to get the bike registered in Kerala.
Will post photos and more details in the next post.

                Ray: Your bike looks young.
Satish: I will be going for stock setup, I hate people changing the front shocks of Yezdi's for disc setup. Stock setup is the real beauty.

Wonderful to know that you rode RK all the way home.

Just a thought :- Why don't you get your bike restored in Mysore and bring it to KL? May be you might get better assistance since Mysore is known for Jawa/Yezdo/RK unless you are good to get assistance in KL.

Yes, Mysore is the right place to get the restoration done for Yezdi/Jawa.
And I have got the very best mechanic also in Mysore.

The thing is like we will get the bike in showroom finish if we are spending some 30-40k. And the time required is 15 days for the full restoration. But the problem is I can't spend that much days in mysore with the mechanic .
Leaving the bike with the mechanic and getting it done by paying a sum of amount, its never gonna give the fun and satisfaction of getting a bike restored. I'm i true?. There should be some contribution from our side and effort. That is the real fun of restoring a bike.

I don't want the mechanics here in Cochin to touch RK for mechanical kind stuff work. And that is the reason Me decided to stay there in Mysore for three days. Collected parts in the first day. Spend next two days with the mechanic in the workshop. And done all mechanical kind stuff work and made sure it will be safe to ride it home. Spend around 10k for the entire work.

The remaining is cosmetic rebuild and i will be searching for flower head, Aluminium air box cover, Y350's front hub, full metal signal lights.

Will have a good plan. For the time being for the re-registration Kerala I have decided to do painting for fuel tank and side covers.

Will post the details of work done with snaps in another post.

@Sanjith:- Looks damn neat. Wonderful to see it after some works done. Hope you have a good feel riding all the way home from Mysore. The DIY paint job has come out good as well. I don't know much about Yezdis and Jawas however, by looking at the pics, it is neatly brought to good riding condition. Take some time during the weekends and explore with it. Only after mile munching would actually get to know more about it. Happy riding.
