Make sure she doesn't squeak out oil after a prolonged period of time, especially near the chain guard, man she looks sexy in that chain cover paint too damn hot.

Some Sunday am gonna lay me hands on her!!! hehe

Beautiful ji. Don't forget the little R1 too, she rocks anyday!! z

Thanks Karthik for the link, thats some serious instance of great restoration. Your Shaolin looks cooool....

I still remember the TV ad of Shaolin in which the biker will draw 4 lines in parallel using the bike's tyre and the 5th line he draws crossing the 4 lines, to highlight the 5th GEAR it has... really cool ad it was.

Haven't had a chance to ride any, but heard a lot about its raw power.
But the people were so concerned about its low mileage, which resulted in its failure eventually.

I am not sure about the paint type, but the paint used was dupont

I always liked he Shaolins. i guess the best Suzuki had to offer. Have ridden the Shogun but never been able to get a hand on this. But have always heard a lot about it, be it on the dirt tracks or on the roads.

Very very nice restoration done buddy!

Shaolin was my 1st bike and I have sweet memories of it. Never ever gave me any troubles. Had to sell with a heavy heart when I relocated from Hyderabad to Pune.

140 cc, 5th gear, RPM meter, engine kill switch. Way ahead of RX in certain departments. Only downside is low mileage maybe 25-30.

Enjoy the bike man, keep it as long as you can. Feed the best 2T oil you can get and it will run like a dream.
