Rd handle on rx would be way too big. UMmm.... why is your seat looking skywards? Want better control then go for a p200 or a p180cl handle. Rest of the bike is great.

Ok. I will stick to the current one. ACtually its comfortable for me. Regarding the seat, I think it must be the camera angle which is from top. Earlier it was having a pulsar shock absorbers. But now its the original Gabriel shock.

        nice job man,
why dont you install disk brake setup in front? you can get the used one (of pulsars) till 4-4.5K in good condition
can you throw some more light on electrical modification part?
i need more light as RX's original light is insufficiat for night riding.

        TIA.

Disk Setup is already in my plan. Enquired old pulsar setup with Rim and Hub and got a quote of 3k. This weekend planned to go to Chor bazzar to have check there. Also want to check Gladiator or RXZ setup. As so many guys told that Pulsars Disk setup is not reliable. And Gladiators setup is a direct fit.

Regarding lighting, I did this coil rewinding from my native(Kerala) from Cochin. This can be done for only RX100 or the old RX135 wiring. I removed the coil plate assembly and took it to kerala for this . I am not sure of the full setup. Just saw that One more small coil winding has been attached to the plate and an extra wire is taken ouside. One KB100 regulator has to be attached to this end for regulating the supply. This coil is for Battery charging. I checked the voltage at the battery terminal with engine idle running with multimeter while All lights ON and a constant 14.4 volts was showing. There is another wire which has to be attached to the input terminal of our Bike(OEM) Regulator. I had attached one more Bajaj Chetak regulator to control the voltage at the tail light(As this voltage is high and chances of tail lamp bulb blowing out). There are no changes to be done to our existing switch or the wiring harness.

This setup has been done 4 Years ago and there is no problem with this till now. I am using Custom Doom with grills.U can use Yezdi doom also for this. Reflector is from Autopal as this gives a Sharp point high beam and very good low beam. Halogen Bulb is from Halonix 60/55w. I changed headlight bulb only once when the low beam blown once. When I took it to my current mechanic, he was like after seeing the beam coming out of my beast.

Thanks bro, blood and sweat has gone into restoring it.

The disc - Its a Gladiator Setup.

Regarding your bike, it looks great. Going slow and steady with all the upgrades is a nice way.

One thing I noticed was the oddity of your seat. The foam is cut according to the 135 style and your seat cover seems to be of Rx100. Just change that and it will give a totally different look to your bike.

And the first and foremost thing is to get your tyres correct sir. Please keep the tyres changing @ high priority because without proper tyres the bike gets dangerously unsafe.

                Cheers !

good stuff and hope you can get the bike set up the way you want it. The seat does have a high position, maybe because the rear pillion grab rail is missing but the complete rear end seems to be reaching for the sky including the rear fender. Have you got the correct rear shocks ? maybe you want to look at it again.

Thanks for the appreciation. Even other fellow members also suggested about the seat problem. I think foam is less at the front side. So height is showing difference.Even sometimes, I feel a little less height while sitting. Will be taking it to the foamwala to add some more to change the look. regarding the Disk setup, Am searching for a Used setup and this weekend will be visiting chor bazaar. If I wont get there, I will go with the pulsar setup.

Thanks for your comments bro. Shocks are Gabriel OEM which is for RX135.I dont find any difference in driving alone or with a pillion.I think I ve to check the rear tyres also.As told earlier , going for the Michelin.

Quick Update: Bike was losing some compression.Thought of changing the piston Rings. After taking to mechanic, saw that there were slight scraches on the block and some wear & tear in Piston too. Changed both with reboring of block with Last Oversize. Yesterday gave it to mechanic and got it today. All parts including Piston & Rings(Goetze) was bought by myself and given. Now I can feel the real power back. Started running in period.

thanks for elaborating lighting part. will discus the same thing with mechanic.
regarding tyres, which tyre you decided to go for in Michelin?
i used M85, it gives good grip on tarmac while leaning. someone told me its not available in market now, came to know about same result of M45.

I am planning to put Michelin SIRAC 3.00 - 18 52P REINF SIRAC STREET. Currently my front tyre is M45. I am very much satisfied with its performance. Will check with some dealer here whether M45 & M85 are available or not? One delaer quoted 1900Rs for 3.00 - 18 52P REINF SIRAC STREET. Is that a good price or should I check with some other also?

Personally i think your bike would have looked better with the seat beading!

It has torn my pant once and was hurting sometimes when riding in shorts, created a huge rust beneath the seat, hence I started disliking the seat beading. Though all these things may not happen in other seats, but then personally I like the seat this way because my bike has a custom look according to my taste. Cheers !!
