    The rebirth of my beloved Phoenix

    Hi all,
    I have taken up a project for myself as a Transport Designer to restore my 10 yr old rx135 to its near about original condition the way she came rolling out of the showroom. here are some pics of the processes i followed.. I made some changes though like the matt black engine fins and the matt grey engine cover on both d sides. Got a clear lens headlamp and tranparent indicators for a little bit of change from other bikes..Main body color is yet to come......

            few things i am still searching here in Pune is a handle for my rx( to be precise it has a RD 350 handle ) and i want the same one.. Present one is rusted thats why want to change it... Second thing is you will see there is no cover on top of the silencer..This is a two piece cover one same as the colour of the silencer and the other is the chrome fittment...i am still searching for these 3 parts which is not available anywer in Pune. When to the yamaha showrooms too.. Please help me find these parts then only i can complete the bike...

                  good work...liked the colour very much...do make sure that you are taking it to a sticker shop and having a small piece of clear sticker cut in the same angle as how the seat meets the tank and done there like the OE one which will prevent the paint getting peeled off at that place

                        its d original rims...jus got it dipped in acid so as the chrome part peels off and den a coat of red oxide and primer and den matt black after all is done got a set of chrome spokes and then straight to the tyre shop...


                        thank you all....now waiting eagerly for the handle and the search for the silencer panels is still on...... @shivanshu i will put up the detailed pics of the engine soon...

                              cant say which bore its runnin on...but surely its not the stock...i had got her bored 2 years back by 0.25mm
