If the bike is struggling above 70, u need to look into the carb and airfilter first. If you are in a running in phase, the carb has to be kept a little rich.

Its a fresh rebuild so the engine should not have any unwanted noises.
    Thanks Yamdoot.
I feel the same too, the carb might have been deliberately setup that way.
Just to clarify, just the crankshaft and bearing were replaced, not a rebuild.

My 100 has currently completed ~450 kms and its the same case with that too.

Besides, I don't know why would you want to revv it to take past 60kmph so early. With 1/4 throttle (which is the max you ideally should be using within 0-500kms) by what margin would one able to cross 60kmph anyway?
Thanks NitinGirish, I feel the same too but no one was able to clarify. Initially i was under the impression that replacing crankshaft does not need a run in period. But slowly when I listened to the engine I could make out the difference. Then when I could not cross 60kmph on a pretty long stretch of road I was alarmed. But I am glad you were able to help me out by sharing your experience. I am relieved.

        UPDATE:

Almost completed 800kms after crankshaft replacement.
Been using 25ml/l oil, but notice thick smoke now. Any suggestions?
