I have gone in pursuit of such olx bikes, most of the times they are dead ends. You do see Yamaha RXZ 4 speeds for 15k, that doesn't mean the market is 15k and any price above that is high.

I would not say you are immature in saying that anything above 35k is too high, after all you are 16, I remember you from another thread where you said a shogun is 5 speed because 5 speed = high sprint gear, I also remember telling you what you say on the internet will stay there like for ever, start acting responsibly because once you will turn 35 like me and at that time you will repent on what you said when you were 16. In some way it will also define you at that age.

FYI, Captains bike not only has a fitness, but it also has a valid insurance till 2016. Its tastefully restored and every single item including the oil level indicator lamp works. I bought 3 sets of meters for getting his bike running, the second set was shipped from Jammu and Kashmir and the third set was hand carried by Captain himself. I had taken the pain to restore the bike nut by nut, myself. So I do feel bad when you put a price to that and its quite obvious.

Now let me tell you one more thing. Its a place where you can you can learn a lot and trust me if you use your years to come wisely without stepping on anyone's tail, you will surpass the knowledge level most of the guys have here. But if you let your ego come in between your learning you will never move ahead. The choice is yours.

Thanks,I can Understand,Sir.I have not pursued any bikes.I never knew this Shogun was previously owned by an xBhpian.I thought that this Shogun was brought from OLX/Quikr or some other Ad Site. You have misunderstood,I would NEVER put a Price on this Bike.I just put it because i have seen Shoguns getting dusted and not getting sold above the 40K mark in my City.

    I am sorry...I hope,You can forgive me,Sir.Thanks...

Thanks for your post, boys do make mistakes, but it only takes a man with character to own up his mistakes and takes a even bigger pair of balls to apologize. This bike was not only owned by me briefly, but by others who are much stronger than me in terms of biking heritage. This was one of those hand picked bikes that never had a mad rider riding it with anger. it was passionately kept and it converted me from a hardcore Yamaha guy to a shogun guy. Its a shame that I have space only for 2 bikes and a car at home. I am very sad that I let this one go. But I stumbled upon a much better project bike(read scrap) that would keep me busy for months and also provide me enough fulfilment once its done. You can read more about how this was brought back to life you can read here.

It was not just a bike sold off to someone, it was a beginning of a new friendship and trust. I have sourced him things after the sale of the bike and I didn't ask him a penny more for the things.

Dhanush, you are a lucky guy, keep her in ship shape, learn a lot, if you didn't know why its smoking more than a 4 stroke that pollution testing guy would have made you visit some mech for getting this rectified and trust me your knowledge saved you, a lot of the 2 stroke owners of our time exchanged their bikes for new fuel efficient 4 jokes and these ended with kids who don't know much. They were junked, ripped, screwed around, mechs made a lot of money. You will see many such bikes with no/bad papers and shagged engines, getting such a rare gem is not easy. This bike was my personal favourite, but I know you will take care of her better than I can, after all there is a limit to number of bikes one can own and ride regularly.

      Have fun Buddy.
