Re: YEZDI D250 CLASSIC back to life

ashishdpinjar Great job, mate!

My dad had a Classic 250 too. Grew up sitting on the tank. Sadly, she was sold off even before I 'd get a taste of her. The tank, engine block, pipes, greasy and smokey...all brought some wonderful memories. Searched for the bike, CNH 1502 a few years back only to find out that it had moved to Mysore, an eternal place where all were built.
Last year, I visited the JaWa factory here in Cz. Now, it is in ruins. Quite a pity.

Yours is a beauty, a fine one! Good luck.
YEZDI forever!

Matter of fact, I bought myself a Yezdi D250 Classic last week (1989) . Call it a coincidence but it's of exact same color (Blue/Black). The Bike is currently with my mech, teared apart ( the resurrection process ). Would love to see few more pics of your beauty .. Cheers !!

Awesome!!! Congratulations man. Yezdi is just pristine!!! Blue and black huh???? Same shade? Matte??
When I suggested to get it painted matte blue and matte black, friends were asking why blue??? It may not look good. But then once everything was done!!! Lot of compliments that black engine combination goes well!!!

Phew !! Look at her man.. She looks as stunning as it can get . And you said it right bud..Yezdi's are pristine..Some of the best things on 2 wheels.
Mine's Blue and Black too. The picture is of the time when i found her in shambles, and trust me this combo of Blue and Black looked so good that i decided to stick with it, plus now that i've seen how its gonna look ( by seeing your babe ), I am much more excited about the day i am gonna get it on road. I will try my best to start off with a new thread and include the entire restoration job of this 2 wheel legend... And yeah.. Thanks heaps for uploading the pics man.. you made my day !!!!Click image for larger version

Ha ha!!! Okay!!! Is it gonna be matte blue? Same shade or the blue which I have done? And engine chrome or black? Black goes well with blue. And someone gotta show how good matte blue and black combination looks
Took the risk. And was worth it. Your bikes looks in better shape than mine was!!! Believe me

I have a 93 Roadking, my mech is asking a bomb for the restoration. Need pointers on good mech's in Bangalore - locality doesn't matter, i am more than willing to visit him everyday if he is genuine.

Thanks & Cheers!!

I've heard that a guy Musa in Shivajinagar is good at yezdis.
I personally like Dastagir and his son shamsheer's work here I'm mysore. Last month a guy had sent imported Jawa TS 638 to shamsheer from Bangalore to mysore for a total rebuild.

Thanks again & Cheers!!
