    This will finally stop the RDs being absurdly priced in the second hand markets, IMO.

    Also, Kudos to Yamaha for having the Cajones to say no to the econoweeniemosquitos. Why make heavy invesments in no-profit product if the customers don't associate your brand with that segment in the first place?

          Actually all the guys out here are happy to hear this news... but i am not... coz i sold my RX100 last month and thought to buy an RD350... i dropped the option coz mainly of two reasons...

          1. Now a days for a good maintained RD people are asking above 1 Lakh Rs... i know its not that much amount...its worth it... and i had not that much amount to spare...

          2. So i thought to buy an unmaintained one and to built it... one of my friends(who own an RD) told me not to do it coz the parts are not that much available in the market and the guys who repair the bikes are not that much available... so i quit the plan and bought the new bike from Yamaha... FZ16 (though not disappointed)...

          But i think the RX spares are available now also...

          But the "RD" news kills me...

                        No man. No, digi cdis. im using just an Analogue black-box from RDD. Its better than usual RX/Scooty pep/ Shogun units... and India Nippon Drum, India Nippon RR, 90/100 coil winding, Power HT Coils and a new wiring harness.

                            You meant the Auto Escorts kit na? Yea. heard they are pretty good. but has got disadvantages too.. it wont offer you better lighting like a proper Cdi kit. but, surely, the timing issues will get solved.. and its quite cheap too.. aroun 4k i believe.. just 1/3rd of a proper cdi kit like the rdd digi cdi [costs 12.5k]

                              can i get an RDD digital CDI anywhere? bcoz Ron & Co (@ RDD) dosent even care to reply to any queries/emails, plz find one for me.

                              @ all members: plz PM me if anyone is having a new kit, as my RD is grounded right now due to ignition problems

                                i dont think so. you will have to look for other options like assembled cdis or Auto Escorts kit.
