    Topic approved.

Indeed a beautiful bike created. The footpegs are beautifully positioned. They will inverse the default gearshift pattern, but nothing a proud owner wouldn't get used to.
    The owner's passion is admirable.

      Beautiful creation. Looks superb.
I can imagine the time and effort invested for the planning and execution of the job.

The front view looks Alien'ish. Beautifully crafted. The leather finish seat, blue tank and rest dark, all gives a distinct feel to this.
          Enjoy your hard work

          Ride safe and have fun.

Can you share the mods, parts and expenses as well? I plan to make over my '87 as well to a cafe racer if my planning goes well.

All the work was done at home except the paint,by me and my brother, we even casted the logo out of aluminium in house, so the expenses were blood, sweat and some material.

That is truely iconic- Simple, innovative(the gear shifter) and almost practical(Just need a well designed rear mudguard/chain guard).

                        .
Haha. Yup me and my brother are both mechanical, but major influence and inspiration comes from my dad, who is a vintage car collector and restorer.

liked the paint job and creative use of mudguard.
can you post results after a ride?
                            am doubtful of air filter.

Brake cable is stressed near the carrier plate. Why can't the complete front end be reversed? (LH-RH) With this the brake cable can be routed smooth (just a thought, experts please suggest is there any draw backs?)
