so, this thread looks like it is going to turn into "The Clash of the Titans" thread.
There once was a woman who was quite begat.
She had three babies named Nat, Pat, and Tat.
She said it was fun in the breeding,
But found it was hell in the feeding
When she saw there was no tit for Tat.

And atul about static being a curve joke. The reason your bike is still struggling at the 130 kph mark is because its on static timing.
I would like to bring this to your notice that previous to this post of yours no one doubted the capability of the product... All described the post as an advertisement - which holds good.

So, i think you should go by what you said in the second para...

C'mon guys, we can keep it cool. Discussion is informative, not argument. This is an awesome place to gain and share knowledge and that is why we all are here. No point in getting offensive unless its really asked for.

I dont believe in refining a package which was built by someone else, thats not called tuning. X does the porting, Y makes the chamber and you do the jetting and dial the ignition timing. You'll learn a lot more when you do all that x,y and Z do.
Good that you are going strong with what u are good at. Its all part of the learning curve.

@Torque - Show me one ignition system, Indian made(not some freakin import and factory stuff) which can cater to all the parameters I want. Let alone having more than one system.

@swingarm - My karma is not to insult you, and if you read what I wrote, it definetely was not my intent. I dont know why you have the Zen talks with me. I build my bikes on my own and I utilise the space and I have no hands in what they do for their living. Take it up with them if you want to.

I did read what you wrote, that is why I took my time out to write in reply. I mentioned the Zen talks with you to make your point more strong about what you wrote about me.

Let me tell you what your intent was in your post. You were trying to tell this forum that I am a noob when it comes to 2-stroke technology and jargons and that I am currently learning stuffs from this forum. How dare I come and mark a post on a RDD CDI as advertisement?

And as far as taking up with Zen, that's not worth my time.

Dude, work on your comprehension skills next time. You can interpret people's speech in 100 different ways. If you are feeling personal about everything spoken, I cant help it.

This thread makes for some interesting reading. I suggest this thread be renamed and expanded to factually describe personal experiences and actual results of mods done by various tuners.

There'll surely be a lot of mud-slinging, but in the end most people will be able to tell which product is worth it and which is not, while reliving the experiences of others will help them decide if they want to go the same route.

While I'm not too gung-ho about the mods route, I respect the effort that goes into it and try to understand the means used to extract that extra little bit from our puny machines. I'm one of those moderates who wouldn't mind doing a thing or two extra, while being mostly satisfied with stock performance and wishing for that elusive 'affordable' twin monster to be launched sometime soon. In other words, I enjoy riding and and quite happy riding a bike that may be 30kmph slower than my buddies, even if it is the same model.

That said, I'm appalled at the attitude of some of the tuners we've got. Their products may be the best around or may not be worth a second look, but invariably, they have tons of attitude, all of it in the wrong places. This attitude is reinforced by some of the tuner's close friends and associates which actually makes the end-buyer's experience a nightmare.

One pays a premium price for these products, whether they work or not. Is it asking for too much if one expects basic civility and decorum? Some people behave like they are GOD (or even greater, come to think of it).

I couldnt agree more. But that s the way it is here and nothing can be done , as long as the "GODS" have got some fan following.

When you start a speech quoting someone's id and putting information about him, that you have been "remembering" correctly to punch in at a suitable place think again who got personal first and who needs to work on comprehension skills. And if you look at the fist page of this thread I was not the sole person marking it as an advertisement!

When someone throws in a statement with a damn attitude for no reason whatsover at me or my id, I DO FEEL VERY PERSONAL about that. If you can't help it, then you have got some serious problems that you need to overhaul sooner or later.
