Isn't that the rxz disc ? looks quite close. but don't remember if it had so many slots. Its a real stunner up close.
I tried to source one. no luck. it's a brembo and an ASC guy told me the disc alone costs >5K. To install the complete setup, 10K 2 @ yrs ago.

edit: It's the z disc alrite. I checked on a bike and counted the slots. when I looked at the pic again, the caption says it's an z disc..
And it's not available in KL-1 now. (the bike is registered kl-1)

Chroming - you can get it done at many places in JC road. Re-painting is a bit tricky - you need to find a good man for the job.

There is one more consideration - with the weather being overcast/rainy ... it will take longer for the repainting etc to be done.

I was chatting with my mechanic last Friday. Apparently the weather doesnt matter now. They paint the parts, put it in the 'oven', set the temperature and duration. Thats it. He claims entire thing takes just 7-8hours. Only the painting I mean. Getting the bike back is solely the discretion of the workshop

@ Vasanth - No the RXK Kit is not a "direct" fit. At least as far as I know.

Decided to get meself an RX again.

                              Guys,

After getting the FZs my biking sprit has really rekindled and now I am determined to assemble a stable of the motor cycles I adore and practically afford to own. So the bigger plan is to get an R15 and in the short term to get an RX cos since I sold my 98 135 I ve felt a void that has not filled and as this is a second bike I would like to make a few mods on her nothing over the top and have a few questions about this? Some experts please do advise. Here's what's goin on my mind:

                              1) Want to get a 3.25 * 16 rear and 3.00 * 18 front tyres and I wanna get Knobby ones, so what is the best brand of tyre for this? I am thinking this should improve the road grip to a great extent and would be great in off road dirt conditions.

                              2) Gas filled shocks. Which bike's gas shocks do you guys think can fit the Rx?

                              3) Front Disk brakes - Again which bike's can i get it off? Are the RXZ's disk break assembly still available?

And to use a sprocket with a tooth less to shorten the gearing and increase its low end and Mid like a dirt bike.

Inputs on these would be greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance guys.

Good to know that you are happy you sourced the jets your self so that made work easier, once the filter gets dirty the sound will reduce, but don't even think of adding any box or blah blahhh you will screw your engine, that's all i can say..

Post the plug pics here based on that we will decide to go higher on jetting or not, you are rite now on 185 mains with needle position at center.
