WOW, that is news to me. I thought they were pioneers in modification and SGP suppliers. In fact, heard quite a few people recommending them.

Now thats an opinion of someone who is sitting some 1800kms away from Zen . You can know the truth by travelling just about 1% of that distance .

Note - In no way am I associated to Zen. Its just that I know that place since a decade and I know whats the truth!

Yep, it is or was a fact. That was the reason I travelled 1800 Kms to get spares from them. Two way rail fare plus hotel expenses in addition to other stuffs. However the rest of the story was completely different.
I have nothing personal against Zen, however there are a few persons therein who are utterly dishonest behind gentleman's mask. Oh yes and very manupulative too. Someone from this forum (and local to Bangalore) was with me and he was just stunned as me to experience the whole incident. So that was just an alert for you.

I had ordered the spares 3 months earlier to my departure with payments sent in advance hoping that the spares will be ready when I get there. My arrival -departure date/time was clearly mentioned. I was also confirmed that yes the spares are all ready and crying for me. But when I reach there, I find that was just a story. There was not a single spare sourced and bought so far. Mind you that was 15k worth of spares. So I had to make the balance payment and was told to come the next day to get the spares. I did. The next day however the dealing person did not turn up. The day after he asked me to come in the afternoon at 4. My train leaves at 6.30 -I had repeatedly mentioned it. The scumbag hands me the spares at 5-45 sharp so that I do not get any time to browse through them. My local friend from Bangalore was there and he dropped me to my hotel in Yashwantpur rly station on his 2-wheeler. If he was not there, I would have missed my train. The scumbag neither issued me a challan or an invoice. Had I been asked in my exit gate in Kolkata about the spares I could have fall into a problem. The bag was eye catching big and heavy.

When I reached home what did I find?

Most of the spares are fake and very cleverly forged.
Some of the spares were not the ones I ordered.
Some of the spares seemed to be ok but they were not sealed.
Spares (taking fakes into account) were given worth 12K. So 3K needed to be refunded.

I returned the spares immediately those which were not ordered and asked them to replace with my ordered ones.

That was in January. The replacement came in May after loads of phone calls (STD calls), visit by my friend from Bangalore every other day. The refund was done in away, I would say even a beggar would refund money faster after what I told the dealing person on the phone about their nature of doing business.

I was astonished to hear that the person gave the reason "business is running slow" for the delay in refunding the money. That was the most unprofessional thing I have ever heard from a business house of such reputation. So perhaps the changed business policy is scam people (specially if you feel they are stupid and co-operative).

So whatever rep they had or have, my experience with them says either someone from Zen is taking advantage of that or all of their dogs are not barking.

Don't be blind while dealing with them if you ever do so.

LOL! ya, had to. Will save a few people atleast from getting burned.

This is the email below that was sent a few months ago when there was no response from them to resolve my issue. The cheats you see are hand written prices of parts handed over to me. I see the amount was 17000 instead of 15000. I marked the spares in the cheats as NOT ORIGINAL, NOT RECEIVED and TOO MUCH CHARGED and emailed them backo so that they know, they were dealing with a literate person.

                    Guys,

My bike is back from the paintshop. Almost all parts (panels, stickers, bore-piston kit, indicators, wiring, carb, shocks) I have sourced except speedo.

Can anyone source the Speedo/Tacho assy of Shogun?

@ swingarm - Do you still have the used speedo which you were ready to part with?

Sourcing Standard size piston (SGP) is difficult.. But oversize piston and rings are available

Who needs stock muffler here, catalytic or non-catalytic? How many?
Drop me a PM, will see if I can manage. Vasanth, I have oversize pistons and rings in excess and hunting for a standard set! Btw, I will despatch your stuffs via Blue Dart. I will not be going to Bangalore otherwise I would have carried them with me.

@Swingarm - Do you still have the used speedo assembly? This is the only part I need to complete my rebuild.
