  • My RX 5 speeder

Got this 2001 Model RX 5 speed

It was total junk and engine was junk..

This bike is basically for fun i don't commute on this much , i wanted a strong reliable engine and looks and other are secondary so kindly ignore visual appearance.

    List of Mods
Brand new 5 speed kit with ART Pistons
    New crank
    New bearings & Seals
    New Clutch and pressure plates
    New Clutch Basket
    New Seat
    Light weight Alloys + Tyres
Gladiator Front Forks & Disc Setup
    New Chain Set
    Fiber Reed Valves
    Expansion Chamber by BG Srinivas
    Autolite Spark Plug
    Vesrah Exhaust gasket
    Pulsar gas filled rear shocks
    Petronas 2T 5000 being used

I have done any porting to my bike but i still very fast due to the expansion chamber by Srinivas !!

Clocked 120kmph true on straight road , which is more than enough for a standard bike and me ( Recorded n GPS and Speed Gun)

Some Pics of the same , I hope you like it !!

Chiragh good work, not to offend you but a stock rx 5 speed with a head mod done by Ron does true 120 on straight, with these heavy mods you should looking for more.

              hey friend
was that rear tyre a direct fit ??
              looks like a 100 / 90 or a 4.00 -18
              has it affected handling ?

^^ No its not you need to loose the chain guard for this tyre.

                      great work

what make is those alloys ? is it specific for Glady ? any changes when used on RX ?

Also is it the complete fork kit of Glady used on the RX T-stump? heard that Glady forks are thicker.

total spent till date is something like 20 grands

Ron head mod does makes sense but to addittion one needs to add CDI kit , but believe me the chamber am using is more than enough.

I spent mainly rebuilding the bike and not invested much on power mods so the power am getting with current setup is enough for me for time being , though i will get big bore setup from in near future ....

Am using 2.75 front and 100/90 rear withou any chain guard

there is major improvement in handeling after new tyres , road holding and comfort has improved a lot more and bike behaves properly on turns and hard braking with front disc, though am still searching for better front tyres

thse are made in China but are forged ones , got them from karol bagh for 3k
They are extremely light weight equal to steels rims so i got them !!

I got the complete forks from Galadiator , using RX T itself so IMO one can just buy outer tubes and use it on RX directly ( am not sure ) , as my forks were bent so i got the comple thing

Sorry to ask a lame question.
Can we fix in the 5-Speed gearbox of RX135 onto a RX135 which has 4-Speed Gear box?

My 4 Speed RX135 needs lots of workdone, Almost the same you have done. Except the wheels.

yes you can do that , but get 5 speed bore kit & lttle head work is required

But from where will you source a 5 speed gearbox??
