    Congrats on the Awesome Build!!

    Thats one really mindblowing mod.
Most of the modifications are new to even hear about and modifying a Bullet is nothing but to me. But thats a job really well done.
With the support of xBhp iam sure u would emerge victorious undoubtedly.
Just curious to know how much does the bike weigh now?
Just as someone suggested chrome finish would have added to the oomph factor of the bike and perhaps some more designs on the fuel tank.
The LED tail lamp looks similar to the Pulsars. Is it visible to the people coming from behind? Looks too low to me. Perhaps i may be wrong.
Iam very excited right now. Iam waiting to know about the performance specs of your bike.
    All the Best.

That's an awesome job! Can you emphasize the difficulty in making the turbocharger work on that engine? I guess, the drastic pressure variation caused by the single cylinder is causing problems in the turbine? Would love to know more about the technical aspects of this project.

No longer leading the Leader board. Need more votes from the xBhp community

        Guys / girls,

Was really surprised when I checked the Rider Mania Leaderboard today morning to see that the RR 700's vote count has been marginally eclipsed by another participant to the competition. Need more support and votes from the widespread xBhp community. Come'on....

@rahul9985, Thanks for your compliments Rahul. The bike weighs exactly 190kgs, with engine oil toppped up (but fuel tank empty), a marginal increase in weight from the stock enfield.

Chrome, I may get if I get the right guy to do it in Mumbai. In Chandigarh, we do not have the right vendors, and its not easy to maintain the chrome mirror finish on the aluminium castings. Some of my friends in Mumbai who have had their enfields engine casings chromed have faced problems with the chrome peeling off in a few months because of the high salt content in the air close to the sea. So, basically, if i get someone to do a great chroming job which is going to be maintainence friendly, will go in for it, otherwise not. My mantra is to spend more time riding it and less minimal time cleaning it

The rear LED lamps are from the Pulsar, and so is the digital speedometer. The rear brake LEDS's have been updated for brightness by using more powerful LED's and are very visible

@RKOLI1983, problems are two fold, one as you pointed out, pressure variations in the long exhaust pulses found in a long stroke single cylinder such as the enfield. Two, as a side effect of the first, the exhaust pressure required to spin the turbo at a high enough rpm to generate the boost comes pretty high up the powerband, which is a problem for a low reving engine such as the enfield. I haven't used an rpm meter to measure it but in general, if the turbo spools up to generate boost at 4000 rpm on the RE, which redlines at 5,500rpm, not much point in there, is it? If this had been a modern 4 valve engine that redlined at 10,000rpm, we are talking a different dynamic. Infact, if I remove the turbo, i am pretty sure that upto 4,000 rpm the performance of the bike will be better than with the turbo coz, till 4,000rpm, the turbo is preventing the bike from breathing properly. Which is why, this turbo project is temporary, and will be replaced by a super charger soon. This is basically as Ranjit explained it to me....Am not qualified to give a technical discourse on this matter unfortunately....

@prajwal! great job man, and youve flipped the handlebars too, like the cafe racers. But remove the tiger headlamp assy of the bullet, and put the top clamp and handle T of the Thunderbird, so that the light gets mounted on stalks, and you put the meters of the Tbird in chrome. That would look great!!!

                        Some more pics

Guys, some more pics - sorry for not updating this thread since so long. Been too busy with work.

Oh, by the way, have taken the turbo off. Wasn't working the way we thought it would. Back to the drawing board on that.

The pics I am posting now are old, when the turbo was on. Will try to take more pics over the weekend and post.

                        Happy thumping...

And the RR700 Prostreet wins the award for the best looking modded enfiled at RMX

Yep, finally managed to go to the Rider Mania 2010. The RR700 Prostreet was appreciated by all and it won the title of the 'best modded / custom Enfield - Cosmetic'. The technical award went to Anthony for his 650cc bike build, who was last years winner as well.

It was my first Rider Mani and I had a great time.

                            Will be posting pics soon.

                            cheers

How the Hell I missed this thread.. I mean.. HOw can I miss a thing like this.. when I am usually on XBHP every day.. atleast 10 times a day.

Thiis is Awesome. GIves me a great feeling.. and brings tremendous respect for the creator of this masterpiece. Awesome. I mean turbocharged.. and the over all execution.. concept.. design.. finishing... Awesome..

I can sense every bit of it.. that how much time and efforts have been spent into this... I would not be surprized.. if this would have costed anywhere close to 4-5 lakhs to build.

                              Double thumbs up.

Well.. The spokes of the alloys.. seem to be ditto profile from pulsars.. Is that so? So to take additional weight, the spokeshave been strengthened?

                              Spec of Sprocket?

As I could read.. the Engine has been Offset.. Isnt it making the bike unbalanced.. Weight distribution is not balanced?
Why Road Safety campaigns are not impacting people?
