For your jerking issue:- Try adding 10ml oil apart from regular and run. I'm not sure if you are running new bore, if yes, try this. During the course of time it should disappear.

Nice restoration. Was the handle bar of RD350's? Doesn't look of RX series. Correct me if wrong.Originally posted by Raghubrp View Post

[QUOTE=NitinGirish;542955]Looks good
Pic 3 is amazing
Thanks!
Do let us know what went into the re-build. It will be useful for me since I have a 135 re-build coming up. If you are ok with it let me know (or PM) the mechanic/garage who did this.
When you are ready to go for the rebuild, PM me, will let u know the details.
Nowadays, I am obessed with tyres. So the standard question-> what tyres are those?
They are IRC make and the rear one is little bit wider offering bit of a more road grip.
Keep RXing
EDIT: I'm from Bangalore, only the bike is from Mangalore

I'm not sure of the needle position. Will check.Originally posted by aargee View PostWhat's your needle's position in carb? It should ideally be set to middle or 2nd from top.
Most important question - Did you change your generator (dynamo) during the rebuild? If so, get a triple confirmation if the magnet is for Rx135 or Rx100.
As far as dynamo is concerned, it is not changed. I have the original one. In fact I had this problem earlier too, before rebuild. I heard that its the common problem with RXG, Is that so?Raghu

The handle is RD350's. I am more comfortable with this so retained it.
It's a new bore. As I said, the problem is there from the beginning (even before rebuild) and I used to mix oil with fuel and still had the problem. Will this get resolved now because I'm running on new bore?Raghu

As I said earlier, try adding extra 10ml to your regular mix and check for least 50 kms. If the problem still persists, I'm sure RX gurus here would suggest the best method to treat it.Originally posted by Raghubrp View PostThanks.

I have a oil supply system and I used to mix oil initially after rebuild since the bore was new. I stopped it after first service, have to try again now. Will do that.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View PostAs I said earlier, try adding extra 10ml to your regular mix and check for least 50 kms. Keep us posted, at what position of throttle, speed & circumstances does your Rx jerks
Ok; will wait.Originally posted by Raghubrp View PostI'm not sure of the needle position. Will check.
Now there're 3 reasons to this; the first lot of RXG's had a faulty ignition timing & YMIS replaced them at free of cost & this issue were addressed in the later lots. So I'm not sure which lot your RXG belongs to. Give more weightage to this factor.Originally posted by Raghubrp View PostIn fact I had this problem earlier too, before rebuild. Second take some pics of spark plug & post it here; if the AF is tad rich, then this issue is likely to occur
Last but not the least, check if your magnet is for Rx100, RXG or Rx135 & keep us posted.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

I can the feel the jerk, when the throttle is almost nil, haven't noticed the speed but even after the throttle is down and the bike is in speed, I won't feel the jerk.
When there is a jerk, Either I have to start increasing the speed or hold the clutch to avoid jerk.
Ok; will wait.

I have put the new ignition system, so it means that not related to this.

will paste the pictures soon.

Is this something which I can check myself?
