There's a Malaysian '08 RXZ in Bombay that was brought in to the country illegally just like the SBK's were being brought in.

nope, the parts are not common at all. Max you could use the carburettor.

What amazes me the most about this bike is, with a displacement of just 132CC, how on earth does it produce 21BHP. I mean i know our drag ported RXs have much power than this, but guys this is supposed to a stock bike from Yamaha Showrooms & for that too for city use. What freaks me out is, its an Air-cooled block not even an LC !!!!

Quite frankly this will smoke all the Indian bikes here, except maybe RD350.

at the risk of being flamed, it would lick a RD350 also, in top speed stakes and acceleration would be evenly matched due to a 108-110 kg kerb weight.

The engine is much bigger than the indian one so naturally the oil capacity will be more, whats new about it ???

The guyz mail which has been posted here, he is a member on the other bhp forum.. the dispacement is same as our induian rx but the stroke is much longer hence it makes more power, when u compare the bore size and weight yo our indian bore will not even come close to half of its norms.

very true. Since I have ridden one and I have seen them race at malaysia, I can safely say that they are inflated figures. In full modded trim, they struggle to cross 140-145kph true on the circuit track with reliability. They are much better built than our Indian RX but nothing nerve wrecking about it. Nothing can beat the Kawasaki KRR150, Honda NSR150, Suzuki RG150. The NSR is the best of the lot. The RXZ is fast commuter and not a race bike. the NSR, KRR and RG were developed by their respective racing ventures and turned into road versions.
The fastest RX in the world clocks around a true 180kph with q'mile time of around 12 secs. Heard its from thailand.

To compare even those deflated figures with anything indian is still mind blowing!!!
