Thanks Yam, I am currently in Hyderabad so out of RD action for sometime, but will be back to Delhi NCR soon, actually I should have posted the entire thread in one go, with so much pending work on weekends I thought of posting in two installments, but anyways it seems everyone knows about it, so I guess I should complete the thread now

yes true complete it but i was wondering the word Einsten which you used wondering who ??? and more over dont be too embarassed as the pics which you had posted are already flying in other public sites months ago, so please dont convey people that you are opening up your secret pot now.

      orkut -

      orkut -

      orkut -

O really did i ?? i was only replying to one of the posts where a memeber asked me is it really dhoni's bike ??? i aint here to spoil the fun if you think so its your way of thinking going bad !!!

You were making them running around the bush, instead i just cut the bush and told them the fact as it is, ok wait where you trying to create a hype by any chance ??? sorry if i had spoiled your party

Now why you getting personal ?? i did behave like a gentlemen atleast thats what i did instead you running around the bush keep your attitude for your good and avoid such statements here after.

And one word if you think that people dont know much about speedwayz or sumith you are wrong , guyz have had good and bad experiences with your tooner so lets keep these talks aside please.

Please go ahead and do what you wanted to convey on this thread ..

EDIT : Even before you hit the edit button i had quoted your post, so better luck next time
Mister I hit the edit button to keep things decent, but I think thats what not people like these days.

and I know that Sumeet (not Sumith) and Speedways are quite known, some consider him a good tuner and some a bad "tooner", everyone has his own set of experiences, anyways he is not ISO certified so errors might be happening. Lets keep it to the general public to decide that if his creations are invited for AutoExpo, his creations can go from Delhi to Calcutta without issues and his creations are picked up by people like MSD
, then are they bad or good, you or infact even me have no rights to comment on that by just hearing the rumor mill, until and unless if either we have seen or heard from the horses mouth about a suffering or success from Speedways,

Another thing that I noticed later you mentioned the word "Einsten", I used "Dr. Frankenstein" who is an imaginary figure in cult and has been portrayed in many movies, he used to turn dead into living, hence used in this post as a metaphor

And it was not about creating a hype, this news is quite old now, and was pretty sure that many people would know about it.

My point was to project it like a story line, nothing less, nothing more...PEACE

Doc working on the machine and the finished product -

Till this time Sumeet was just rebuilding the bike for sale to anyone who would approach him,

Flashback - About 2 months back someone called Sumeet and asked about the availability of any RD, Sumeet said that there are a few bikes but no new rebuilts, just a few with only engine redone on them, within 1-2 hours the guy called again asking the location of Speedwayz, till now the person didn't reveal his identity. soon a Pajero and a Outlander reached Speedwayz but only one person got out and checked the workshop and the bikes, He left in sometime with a promise to call back

There after no phone calls no information,

Again the person called in a month's time asking to get a bike that was ready, built from scratch to some place in Delhi, Sumeet with a couple of N.E.R.Ds members took the bike,

Till now Sumeet didn't know the buyer or the caller, so if this turned to a hoax he would have lost a couple of fuel and time,

Anyways, they reached the address that was provided to them,
The who was co-ordinating this came and said that "bhaiya" would like to ride the bike before finalizing the deal, a normal looking guy came out of a house, and he was none other then our cricket team's captain MS Dhoni. MSD is so down to earth, that Sumeet and NERDs ended up discussing RDs and nothing related to cricket.

MSD rode the bike finalized the deal, he knows more about RD then many of us here,

From left - MSD, "negotiator", Sumeet, Sohib(NERDs member)

Congrats Sumeet, I consider this a milestone in your RD passion !

@inflammable/blisteringintelligence - you are welcome, some more such stories would be up soon, this time it would be first on Xbhp, rather than leaks on other forums.

MSD has 8 RDs to be precise, and he is a 2-stroke addict like many of us

                Hi Rajat,

It was a good read & indeed it makes a lot of difference how you present something to the audience. The 'story-telling' was good & I enjoyed every bit reading this, & the RD looks gorgeous.

I must confess, that although I am no Yamaha fan, or in general, not a fan of fast bikes but the RD is one bike that has a different appeal to it & it is the only bike from the aforementioned category that I would love to own. Plus, it's a legend, a classic today.

I hope I would be able to fulfill this desire some time in the future, hopefully till then we would have some scrap RDs left

                Take care.

BI : Dhoni's motorcycling started with RX100 and after that once he had money with him RD's started flowing in his garage. At his home he still prefers to ride on his Bike's I think in total he has around 14bikes and YES he is a big 2-stroke addict. He loves riding/driving but now due to security reason thanks to his popularity he cant do what he likes.

Well Rajat nice thread, RD's is always a dream machine for me. bring on the more stories
