Am building a suzuki shaolin for a fellow friend with a few mods to the engine. Thought I'd share a few pics with fellow shaolin riders. Am using the VR150 piston + a few crank mods. The rest of the stuff eventually. Here's a few pics. The crank pics are when it was freshly taken off
Whats the change in bore x stroke after this piston change and crankmods ??
"Engine tuning is not an exact science, but with some practice and patience you'll get comfortable with your skill and be able tune for any conditions mother nature throws at you"
arey wah. i was just thinking of how to rebuild my shogun ;-). Let me wait for a few months and send the engine to you. or atleast the crank and barrel
split the crank and got the webs cleaned with my new ultrasonic cleaner
attached pics of the stock shaolin rod v/s the rod I intend to use.
also the stock roller bigend has shorter and less number of rollers as compared to the upgrade. Not to mention the rod allows me to use a much bigger piston and a RD/RZ gudgeon pin bearing.
ah ok. i got one of those barrels in TVS packing with SAM piston. some say they are good. and some say they are not OEM. Would u be able to do something abt that barrel.
need the crank rebuilt anyway.
Planning to get the cycle parts and cosmetic stuff done up locally in the next 10 days.
so please PM me abt the stuff
